Banana Bungalow’s location is fantastic! Right in the heart of Hollywood and steps away from all the hotspots. You can see the HOLLYWOOD sign right from the courtyard. We have loads of freebies including breakfast, Wi-Fi and social activities. Our staff is super friendly and helpful, ready to make your Los Angeles stay the best ever! The courtyard has amenities including a large screen TV, awesome lounge furniture with umbrellas, free coffee and tea, basketball, foosball, table tennis, large flame heaters, palm trees, music and more. Guests can also relax in the movie lounge or billiards room with free common computers, or enjoy the karaoke stage on-site with occasional live musical performances. Out back is the Tiki Garden which will transport you to a tropical island with Southern California sunbathing and an outdoor shower to cool off in. There is free fast reliable Wi-Fi throughout the property and secure affordable parking. Private rooms have a Queen bed plus one or two twin beds, a full bathroom, a full kitchen, TV with satellite channels, heating and air conditioning, a safe, a closet, a wall fan, and a USB charging station for your phone. It was easy to come and stay. It was safe due to security installations, and well equipped for leisurely activities.

Sehr bemühtes Personal, super Animation vor allem an den Wochenenden mit Karaoke, kostenlosem Barbecue und Getränken. Zimmer sauber, jedes Zimmer mit Küche ausgestattet. Ping Pong und Basketball im Hof. Hollywood Walk of Fame in wenigen Minuten zu fuß zu erreichen, Metro in der Nähe. Betten könnten etwas bequemer sein, aber ist okay.

Of course the ambiance provided. Especially credit KiKi for keeping everyone happy with his food decisions. The Backyard garden is fabulous. I’m a Senior women and was talked down to by a couple of people (staff), I always get over it. My new favorite line after being disparaged is “Do U hope when your grandma goes out, she’s treated the way U just treated me?” No sweat. I have been traveling since 2022, looking for my Senior home; 6 mos Europe, 4.5 mos Mexico, 3 mos Vancouver Canada. LA is always calling me back. On the 14th, when I arrived @ 4, he only let me buy 1 night. I’ve stayed here & on Fairfax, 15-20 occasions in that time frame. 3 different people gave me 3 different reasons why I was blocked from buying both nights the other day. I hope if I’m traveling thru LA again-all is wonderful.

We felt safe within the hostel, however, may not feel comfortable walking around the neighborhood. Maybe not as clean as a 'nice' hotel, but we thought it was perfectly acceptable .
