This hostel was better than expected! We stayed in a private room and it looked better than the pictures. Our room was clean and spacious, and came with a fridge. Staff were friendly and there was lots of parking - make sure to reserve your spot before arriving. They provided free breakfast, dinner and alcoholic drinks some nights! Great location - walking distance to the metro stop and Hollywood walk of fame. We could not turn the heater off in the room. The walls are paper thin so you will hear your neighbours and also everything happening on the street. However, this was manageable and expected. Lots of homeless people on the street but that was also expected and there were no issues.

Location, good value

The rooms were cozy and comfortable, and the staff was friendly throughout my whole stay. They also had karaoke with free drinks that a lot of us showed up to and it was such a fun time! I highly recommend staying at the hostel!

Loved this place. Have never stayed at a hostile before and it's such a different environment. Everyone is so welcoming and inclusive. The staff was incredible and so helpful. Breakfast was served with such personality and warmth. It was such a different experience!

Zero privacy, no curtains on the bunk beds. Beds are rotating, but I don’t see dorm-style rooms getting cleaned. You get one old towel. Very uncomfortable, very noisy beds. Raging at the hotel bar/lounge at club-level volume until way past quiet hour (11:00) with people hanging out loudly and playing ping pong until past 1:00 AM on a Tuesday night. I like to have fun myself, but I was there to sleep, not feel like I was on spring break. Can’t close the windows to muffle the sound bc there’s only a fan and no AC. My roommates got into an argument in the middle of the night and exchanged racist and disparaging insults, threatening to call the police on each other. Don’t stay here even in the private rooms if you are drug tested for work or otherwise, as no one follows the no-smoking/smoking area rules and the place is lit up around the clock with weed smoke slithering into your room windows. Guests were very mixed: international couples and families on vacation, party kids in town for pride and otherwise, and many folks who seemed housing insecure, of which I seemed to have 2-3 in my room, making for very awkward and tenuous interactions, especially given that they didn't sleep regular hours (up for half the night with lights on and making a range of odd noise). Breakfast, unhealthy. PB&J with gas station donuts, instant coffee with powdered creamer, and bananas so green you'll have to give them 3 days to be edible. They tried, but I won't be back and I doubt I'll stay in a hostel again.

It’s proximity to everything I was not allowed to park within the complex

Kitchen & bathroom inside the the female room. Housekeeper cleaned daily, secluded & with cameras. I feel safe inside. Some of the stuffs are rude. Loud party at some nights.

The people are so nice. I’m sad I left:/

They did upgrade me to a room with a kitchen in it to make up for the loss of my room at the Fairfax location. I originally made a reservation at the location on Fairfax, just near West Hollywood. I called the location a few days prior to my stay, just to confirm, only to find that the location on Fairfax had been closed down. No one ever contacted me to inform me of the closing. They just switched my reservation to the other location they had on Hollywood Blvd, in an area that is totally scuzzy. Homeless people sleeping on the sidewalk right outside the Inn.
