It was very close to everything which we like. But we were on the ground floor room and you can hear what is going on on the top floor and it can be distracting.

This hotel is a literal oasis in the middle of a kiiinda sketchy neighborhood. It’s gorgeous! The pool area is everything! Gorgeous plants everywhere, very clean. We got upgraded to a second floor balcony room overlooking the pool and it was fabulous. The vibe is very retro Palm Springs. It’s one block from Hollywood Blvd. Great location! Highly reccomend!

Room was ready nearly an hour late on day of arrival. Front desk staff seemed unsupported with handling this delay, but bartender provided excellent service while we waited. We booked this location specifically for the pool but, unfortunately, were unable to use it at all due lack of communication on part of the hotel. Late check-in meant we had no time to dip before our dinner reservations and, while we planned to spend the morning before our departure poolside on the loungers, a photoshoot meant we were not allowed to do so. Sadly, the front desk seemed just as surprised by it as guests, as when I asked if pool was still open or what times it would be, the attendant said he would confirm with the GM who was onsite (in the same room) but came back letting me know they would find out and let me know in the next half hour. The front desk attendant was helpful and kind in getting back to me, though the answer still meant loungers weren't open to guests and pool might be, though we'd have to move if asked by crew. GM couldn't even be bothered to come clarify with a guest, so we ultimately left with out using the one amenity we booked for. Our parking ended up being comped for the inconvenience, but doesn't compare to the cost of stay for something that was inaccessible.

Awesome little boutique hotel in a good central location, just hope you get quiet neighbours!

Great staff, cute room set up, spacious shower! We could not get the TV to work. We switched remotes several times nothing was able to be done about it.

I booked the Polihotel at the last minute for my business trip to LA. It is during FIFA, but still at a very affordable price and a VERY convenient location. The hotel is very cute, very artsy with the decor, and convenient with a bar and a cafe in the lobby. I absolutely will come back! However, one thing to notice is that there is a sink right next to the bed in the bedroom (at least in my room - a King-size bedroom) and sometimes it smells... But I brought a room spray with me so it didn't bother me that much.

It is very charming The walls are so thin that you can hear everything. We had very noisy neighbors. And no healthy options for the breakfast.

Hotel was great. Rooms were a little over booked but overall great place.

The front desk personnel was so nice enough to give me free parking and upgrade me to a balcony suite Thank you so much

I stayed here with my son (17), and we absolutely loved it! The property was beautiful, the room and balcony were beautiful, and it was a convenient location. We appreciated the come-and-go self parking. The staff were so friendly and help! The room was impeccably clean and the decor was beautiful! Wonderful location to get to everything in the area within a reasonable amount of time! We will definitely stay here again!

We called ahead of time before we made the reservation to make sure our vehicle would fit in the underground parking. They assured us it would. When we got there, our vehicle was too big and the staff was very unhelpful in helping us find a new location for our van. Other than that, the rooms were clean, and the pool area was great.

Really great hotel, good location, nice room, friendly staff

The pool and the service of the bartender Jason The room we reserved did not match the description on the booking website. Appears to be an issue with booking, as the front desk clerk said this has happened before. There was not much courtesy extended about the issue and nothing to do to resolve it, though we had paid for a balcony room, but got a room in the back with a window, looking out at the a wall on the first floor.

The room was cozy, clean, and the bed was comfortable. Water nice and hot with great water pressure. Refrigerator well stocked along with a basket of goodies for purchase. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel also requires a USD $100 per night holding deposit, which can take up to 15 business days to be released. While I understand security deposits are common, this wasn’t clearly communicated and can be quite inconvenient for travellers. When I asked about a late checkout, I was told it was subject to availability, which is completely understandable. However, the latest available checkout was only 2pm for an additional USD $150. It actually worked out cheaper for me to book another night. Initially, staff wanted to charge a second holding deposit as well, but thankfully Adam was helpful and understood that I only needed the room until 8pm before heading to the airport, so another overnight deposit wasn’t necessary. Although the property appears to be a renovated motel, the bathrooms definitely show the age of the building. The shower drainage was poor and filled up quickly while showering, which is particularly frustrating for us girls with long, thick hair - you’re practically having a bath by the end of your shower. Check-in was also lacking. We weren’t provided with any information about the hotel, breakfast, the amenities or housekeeping procedures and there was no assistance offered with luggage despite having to navigate stairs to reception - they just stare at you. The housekeeping process was confusing & inconsistent. Apparently, housekeeping must be specifically requested at check-in. When I called on my second day (I stayed 4 nights - this is my late check-out booking) to request a room clean, I was asked whether I had arranged it during check-in. I hadn’t been informed that this was necessary and assumed housekeeping was included, especially since a housekeeping notice had been left on my door the previous day.
