The Hollywood Roosevelt

Great location but cabana rooms are not well insulated, you can hear nearby guests and lots of additional fees for unknown reasons.

Love staying at the Roosevelt when in LA. The pool is amazing & the Cabana Rooms with direct access to it are a must!

The hotel is in a fabulous location for a quick stay such as ours. Room was lovely and had everything we needed - expect coffee making facilities I would like to be able to make my own coffee in the room. Especially at night when we would like a hot chocolate and werent comfortable going out at that time

Hotel is in an excellent location with a fabulous pool, and we were lucky enough to have a room which overlooked Hollywood Boulevard and the famous sign. Room was a good size and very clean and beds were very comfy. N/A

The toilet didn’t work the first night, so we had to sleep in another one of our groups room. The new room had the same problem. Got moved to another room for the 2nd night. 3rd room we had to move because it was infested with ants. 3 rooms over 5 nights. I tried uploading the videos of all their tomfoolery but they don’t allow videos. So I added some still frames from the videos attached videos. They only refunded us one night stay even though we didn’t have use of the rooms for 3 days. Only one elevator was working for 1/2 our 5 night stay. It’s an old hotel, and we knew that ahead of time. Kinda our fault. Also, if homeless people screaming and defacating in front of you isn’t yer thing maybe better to head over to Beverly Hills or Marina Del Rey or somewhere. They are always within spitting distance every step outside the hotel. But gotta admit, the pool is pretty cool.

Outdoor pool was amazing. We were attending a concert at the Hollywood Bowl and this was a great hotel for the area. Room was clean, food at the Tropicana was great, and enjoyed finishing our evening in the library bar. Stayed in a cabana garden king and loved being close to the pool. Didn’t hear any noise from the pool party at night.

Had a wonderful stay. Hotel has an amazing vibe and lots of spaces to take in the history and enjoy it.

The Spare Room bar and the Library cocktails and staff were fantastic!

We absolutely loved the hotel! It has character and charm, as well as all the Hollywood glamour. Even though LA is huge and moving around is complicated, its location is great! Another thing I’d like to mention is the staff, they were incredibly helpful and nice. Our room’s AC wasn’t working correctly and they were attentive all the time, we even got an upgrade to a king suite which was awesome! -

Exceptional

I’ve stayed at this hotel on many occasions and it’s always been good with most trips being better. Due to events not everything was accessible as a resident such as the lobby and elevators which although not a disaster given we travelled from the UK and staying a couple of nights it was restrictive. The perks previously afforded being a gold member were not applicable such as room upgrades and the $30 food and beverage voucher which again are not deal breakers as they say it’s the little things that make a difference. I booked a deluxe king size tower room but when checking in I was told it was a premier room and it’s the same but if felt different, again the subtle changes can make a big difference especially when there’s no explanation. We will return and hopefully these minor issues are just a one off.

but was met with a 74 degree room and gifted a loud box fan instead. The hotel comped us one day of valet and two days of property costs which added up to $149 for a room that cost over $1600. Beyond disappointed especially from a hotel with such prestige.

It’s a lovely hotel from the period but it is a bit tired. The thing that upset me most is that they held a function which closed most of the entrance and didn’t tell us until a couple of days out!!!! The staff were succint and our room had a view of air conditioners and there were staff out there so we had to keep the blinds closed. Disappointing.

First, we did not get the room that we paid for and instead got a room that was not next to the pool, had rusty nails sticking out of the boards that were no longer holding up a collapsed patio wall. Mold in the shower which we could never get them to clean. Shower handle that was extremely loose and getting ready to come off. Loose wiring in two places. And we couldn’t use the safe since it didn’t have a handle on it so it would not open.

Had a wonderful stay here and can not fault this property. The staff where friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate and omg the pillows are divine. Would definitely return to this property. Oh yes and did I mention the pillows wow never had such beautiful pillows in a hotel ever 😍
