Magic Castle Hotel

We loved the Popsicle Hotline, soda machine, and the soft serve machine. The area this place was located was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had many early mornings because we could hear the footsteps of the people above us.

Very welcoming staff. With all the amenities.

The hotel is quite old, but it has been exceptionally well maintained and doesn't feel dated. The pool area has a whimsical and fun atmosphere. We didn't use the pool, but the breakfast was excellent. The staff were very helpful, and we felt warmly welcomed upon arrival. There were also plenty of complimentary extras, which was a lovely touch.

Every member of staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Lots of little touches like free self serve ice cream, sodas and coffees. Great location for all Hollywood attractions, just a few minutes walk from Hollywood Walk of Fame. Very large spacious rooms Property itself is a little dated and is ready for a spruce-up. But this is more than outweighed by the service and extra touches.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. but the property is way too old and not worth the price...

I loved the amazing staff! So friendly and always trying their best to make everyone happy. The quirky additions that other hotels don't do such as free popsicles, drinks, snacks and laundry. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable and sleeping in the lounge meant that when there were noisy people in the pool during the night I was kept awake. The beds in the bedroom were lovely, its just unfortunate for the poor person sleeping on the sofa bed in the lounge.

Staff are friendly and attentive and, as this is a former apartment block, the rooms are huge with a full kitchen, separate living room with a sofa bed and large master bedroom. This gave us plenty of space travelling with two adult children, and meant we were able to relax fully. T

Loved everything about it! Quirky and fun! Good value too and very friendly staff. Excellent quality snacks for purchase from the fridge! Noisy a/c is all!

The staff were amazing, pool was great, breakfast was lovely, free snacks, free ice cream and unlimited soft drinks were great. Room was clean and very spacious. Lovely evenings spent by the pool watching a movie. Great location, walkable to walk of fame, but out of the way so it’s quiet.
