Magic Castle Hotel

The hotel manager and staff were amazing. Room was clean, parking was easy, and the environment was fun and friendly. We were able to easily walk to Hollywood blvd and felt safe. Had an amazing vacation seeing The Phantom of the Opera with my sister and daughter.

We had a very short stay, but the staff were welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are clean and spacious and feels like old LA. The perks offered are also great additions especially for families with younger kids. Our 6 year old was absolutely sold with the popsicle hotline and snacks. Looking forward to booking here again for a longer stay.

Stayed for pitbull concert nearby! Our friends definitely enjoyed a family friendly environment. We also enjoyed late night ice cream after the concert! Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Enjoyed the entire 2 day stay. It wasn't long enough. The best part of Los Angeles.

This is a MUST for kid friendly! The staff was excellent!! They have all the things for kids: snacks 24/7, popsicle phone while swimming, hot and need some soft serve ice cream YEP!! It’s not brand new but I would stay there again!! My kids felt heard & seen and it was honestly the BEST hotel for them, they can’t wait to go back.

The staff went above and beyond!

Free sodas, ice cream, snacks and of course the legendary popsicle hotline. Nice to have a room with microwave and oven so we could cook for ourselves (there is a Target 10min walk away). Rooms are looking a little tired but that shouldn’t impact the overall experience.

Really disappointed with the state of the property. I guess you get what you pay for.

I would recommend the Magic Castle hotel to all families staying in LA. It is also 1 stop away on the Metro to Universal Studios.

Heated pool! 10 mins from Universal studios and 5 min walk to Hollywood Blvd! Friendly staff and very welcoming! Rooms are a great size, practically small apartment

This place is truly magical! The amazing front desk staff (Kevin, Sam, etc.) went above and beyond our expectations. The amenities offered cannot be ignored. Free soda, laundry, snacks, ice cream, and a 24 hour pool. Our family will remember this place forever. Thank you for the magical experience, the wonderful suggestions, and the top notch service. We will recommend this place to everyone!!

Awesome Hotel for kids. Amazing staff. Excellent amenities. Amazing location. I cannot say enough good things about this great hotel with amazing staff. Incredibly well maintained for the age of the building. If you're looking for a modern, unfriendly hotel where you are just a number then this is not it!! If you're looking for an EXPERIENCE, then this is it!! Just need to look past the dated decor and you will be immersed in the most magical place I've ever stayed.
