Hotel was a short Uber ride to the Bowl to enjoy a night of Smokey Robinson! Will definitely come back to enjoy the speculation and the views 💜

We stayed in Room 203 and the upstairs neighbors made noise all day and all night. It really ruined our stay and this is one of our favorite hotels. People were also running up and down the stairs at all hours of the night.

Our rooms were on third floor. Hotel has no elevator. Was a bit hard carrying our suitcases to third floor. Also, there are staff present on premise, except for room cleaners. Hotel has no lobby that you would expect from a hotel, vending machine, breakfast, etc. All this not available. Rooms were roomy and clean with a balcony.

I liked everything! It’s Los Angeles, the property looks as it should.

    Spacious and great views!

Amazing views from the room- that was definitely the highlight. Pool was enjoyed (although there was no place to sit.) The room was very spacious. The staff incredibly helpful when I needed things. For those choosing this for it's proximity to Hollywood...while probably walkable for some...it is down a hill and the directions are not clear how to best walk (we thought we locked ourselves out of the gate but managed to get back in). I was concerned about the walk back after dark (with my child) so we decided to drive to Hollywood Blvd instead.

great far from lyft pick up spot

Location It didn’t match the pictures at all. It’s not really a hotel. It’s more like an apartment. There’s no staff here and everything is through an AI Agent. When we arrived we had no idea where to go or how to find our room. The pool doesn’t even have any deck chairs to sit on. Such a weird place.

I stayed here many times and it’s quiet, The view is beautiful and if there’s questions they are answered immediately. It’s an extremely good value and lovely place to stay.

Loved the place, so charming and cozy. Beautiful view of the hills. I scheduled for a late checkout for 130pm but was still asked by house cleaning to leave earlier starting at around 1030 am. From 1130-1230pm my door was knocked on loudly while I was getting ready to leave. It was a bit of a rush. Otherwise the place was amazing, easy to get in and will definitely be back anytime I come to LA.

I liked that we were placed in a room with a view of the cityscape. Was a little confusing to find my room. Parking is tight.

We had difficulty with accessing our room.

The air conditioning was good. The staff was nice. They had a smart tv so we could screen cast movies. The staff was quick to respond and helped without complaint when our room key didn't work so we had to text at early and late hour for them to manually unlock the door. Squirrels and bird frequently got close to the back doors so they were fun to watch. The soaps and shampoo and stuff smelt great. The bathtub was deep. The room was nestled between apartments and the tenants of those apartments smoked weed so it smelled liked skunk everytime you opened the door. The room was disconnected from the rest of the hotel as if it wasn't even part of it. The parking was on the side of a tiny one way road so you couldn't load up or unload without being in people's way and having to move if anyone needed by, then having to drive backwards up a hill to get back. It was hard to bring everything to the room or load uo to leave because of the parking combined with the flight of stairs we had to go up or down to get to the room. The restaurant in the listing needed a reservation and the garden was only a tiny display inside of the resteraunt. The hotel listing made it seem like you could dine at any time and actually visit the garden. We felt lied too when the garden was the main reason we chose the hotel and we couldn't even enjoy it. The doors needed to be unlocked with a QR code and it never worked. Would have been a great idea if it did work. We had to bother the staff at early and late times to unlock the door manually. The floors felt sticky after a shower and our feet were black at the end of the night so we had to wear slippers which were not provided so we had to buy some. The couch bed was thin and the bars underneath hurt you when you sleep. The regular bed felt like it was slanted so all the blood rushed to your head and you had to put a lot of pillows underneath your head to sit up as you sleep. There were no sponges provided to clean the cookware so we had to use a wash cloth from the bathroom. There was no dining table so we ate on the couch with the living room table. The shower headboard gunked up and broken so it didn't spray well. My biggest complaint is that we really felt lied to by the listing.

Check in was abysmal. Waited for over an hour to get into our room after we paid for early check in.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

Room 117 was not in the building pictured in their marketing, in fact it wasn’t even the same color (peach). It was the forgotten building in the back by the trash cans. The pool was nice but no chairs or loungers to sit on. The room was clean and large, with a nice view but could not pivot TV, no plastic cups for the pool, no extra towels, nothing. All this is fine if you actually have a front desk to ask these things from.

The bathroom was our main issue. There was no outlet in the bathroom so drying and curling hair had to be done in the bedroom. However the outlet in there was nowhere near a mirror. There was also no ceiling fan/vent in the bathroom. There was mold all over the floor from the moisture from showers. They also showed photos on the website of the bathroom having a window with a view. I’m sure some unit may have had that, but ours did not. The description said sound proof walls, but the ceiling was not. We could hear every word from the upstairs tenant’s tv. Our TV was not visible from the bed so we couldn’t enjoy a movie or show at night from our bed.

The room was very spacious with a great view of the hills, but the primary reason we booked here was for the pool which was closed off for construction which wasn’t mentioned in the description. Would stay again once the pool is fixed up!
