Costa Hollywood Beach Resort

Terrible and dismissive front desk. Rooms are dated and dirty (found a dead cockroach in the living room on day 3). Wasted money on the washing machine and dryer that didn’t even work. No one would reimburse.

One block from the Beach! So convenient. The front desk staff was friendly and kind. The room was very clean. I loved the high ceilings!

I had an amazing solo trip for the weekend. Great chance to relax and get away. All of the VIP perks made it even better. I enjoyed yoga and aqua Zumba on the rooftop on Sunday morning! I’ll definitely be back!

Clean

Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend Costa Hollywood for a great getaway!

Everything excellent. South building needs better signage behind locked. Been here before and didn't affect me this time but signage still not up.

The parking was another issue. It was advertised at $30 per night, but you needed a code from reception on your phone to get the discount. As we had British phones that couldn’t access it properly, we ended up paying $44 per night. We explained this to reception, but they didn’t seem particularly bothered. The swimming pool is on the 7th floor, but the towels have to be collected from the 1st floor. You are given one towel each, then have to return to the 1st floor afterwards and queue again to get your towel card back. It’s unnecessarily inconvenient. The hallways were dirty and had a strong smell. The rooms themselves were okay, but the overall experience was let down by the constant extra charges and lack of customer service. We also asked about a later checkout and were told 2pm was possible, but it would cost $70. It felt like everything they could charge you extra for, they did. The little things that cost the hotel very little could have made a big difference to our experience, but unfortunately they chose to charge for them instead. Overall, I would not return and would choose another hotel.

Great place! Perfect location Table in kitchen was wobbly, need to get a Kerig the coffee machine was way to small.

The front desk clerk was so sweet when I was checked. My birthday was that day and his was the day after so he shared his cupcakes with me. I couldn’t believe how big the suite was! It’s so close to the beach and the boardwalk so it’s highly walkable. The view from my balcony was beautiful. I will definitely stay here when I’m back in town. Next time I’ll have to check out the rooftop bar!

False advertisement never again

The staff were all great. We didn’t have a single issue with anything. We loved the rooftop pool and restaurant, and the views of the beach.

The views were amazing from the 5th from. Can see the city and the ocean. The 1 bedroom suite is a must, great space, clean, and convenient. Only thing I didn’t like was there were no smart TVs, would make the nights better when you’re just in the room relaxing. Distance to the best was nice, very close and easily accessible. Be prepared to pay for parking when you’re there, it’s not included. If you don’t have a car then you’re good. The rooftop pool and bar area is a great area to be in, the views from up there are beautiful and the service staff was great, you can order food and drinks right by the pool so it makes the experience even better. Definitely a 10/10 from me!
