Arlington Resort Hotel and Spa

Location, lobby and bar area Very old, which we knew going in. But it definitely needs renovations.

Historical & pet friendly to my grand daughters kitten Parking was full & had to go a little ways to get it & we were in room 672 & my granddaughter said the area from the door that goes out by our room to the pools looked horrible & was a safety hazard if someone fell off the rails because her friend died when he was hiking by falling off a bluff, can you enclose it & make it like a pergola with cattle panels & plants & pretty? she’s almost 16 so everything is about appearances & the swimming pools need to have solar heaters..we loved the hot tub!

My husband and I enjoy staying in historical hotels such as the Arlington. It is charming with still using a key to get into your room. Very nice hot tub and two pools. We stay here every time we visit Hot Springs! 😊Easy access to stores and diners.

Exceptional

The only complaint I have is there were no safety bars in the bathroom and no shelves for your toiletries. There was a hook on the back of the door and that was it!

We liked the history of the building

Staff was amazing. Location was absolutely ideal. The open ground level parking (which was cheapest) wasn't available because the ticket machine at the entrance was broken, forcing us to pay double to park in the garage. There was wood rot in multiple places in the room, and I'm pretty sure mold in the carpet. I got sick during my vacation, and was still sick afterwards likely partially due to this.

Room was clean. Service was nice. Enjoyed the bathhouse for the first time experience. I understand that I didn’t get all of the services that were offered to my wife with the same bath package. Not sure what that was about but anyway. We always enjoy the music at night. Enjoyed the room service breakfast. Staff is always friendly. Bar staff at night is great. The front desk was very helpful with getting us a king bed when we were only able to book a double room on line.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Hot Springs and our stay at the Arlington Hotel. The Arlington is definitely a hotel pulled right out of history. Loved the antique feel. The staff were friendly and very helpful anytime we needed them. There was a live band Friday and Saturday night in the lobby that made our evenings enjoyable. Will definitely be staying again.

This is an old historic hotel with need of some TLC.

The initial entrance was breathtaking. Antiques, marble, brass , glass door knobs Al showed a classic 100 year old hotel The description said our room would have a view of the pool and a Mountain View. The pool could not be seen from our room. The Mountain View was distorted by dumpsters, broken windows , the most run down part of the hotel. The pool area , the upper pool was full of alders and leaves with green algae on the sides. The lower pool wasn’t much better. Not what was expected. The hot tub was full of acorns with tiles missing leaving sharp edges to walk on. Both pools were also missing tiles
