Baymont by Wyndham Hot Springs On the Lake

The room was clean and the lake view was amazing!

Sheets were dirty, had them change and put more dirty sheets on. AC was leaking so there was water all the way to the bed. Room was just dirty.

The cleaning was good and the staff was great and the breakfast was great and the Lake view was great

For starters the front desk check in was a challenge. There was a huge language barrier and the third time I had to ask what he said became a kindergarten class. The other desk clerk decided I needed to be read the pet policy word by word then asked if I understood. THEN I was advised of the pet fees which are ridiculous. Each pet x $50 per night so $200 for two toy poodles total weight 12 lbs. for two nights. Couldn’t take them to the pet area because of big dogs running the property off the leash and in pool area, breakfast area and bar. Grass has many piles/dumps. Way over charged for this stay. Toilet wouldn’t shut off very loud from the bar area/pool until midnight. Very disappointed for Wyndham to have their name on this place. Breakfast not good but that’s pretty typical these days at most places. NOT worth the money at all.

Changed rooms and then ultimately gave up because it was dirty. Not worth the money.

AC didn’t work. Pool filtration system wasn’t working. Nearly locked in by security lock. Refrigerator didn’t cool. Door didn’t close. Couldn’t understand the person on the phone when I called. Lady at desk had to go find what rooms were ready.

Love the restaurant and lakefront amenities.

The pool was in very bad condition the railings are hanging on by a thread. The breakfast is what you expect for a hotel. The facilities really needs some upgrades.

They purposely put us on the 4th floor saying that they were fully booked when out in the parking lot there were only 14 cars. Our room also looked into the parking lot not at the lake seeing as we were the only one on the 4th floor. No doggy bags available no place to relieve my dog. If you are not dog friendly I wouldn't have stayed.

Nice view from balcony. Faucet in tub didnt want to stop running and when we got to the room the tub had water in it. Other than those minor things everything was great; room was clean, facility was clean, plenty of parking and neighborhood was quiet.

Great hotel!

The room was huge but layout made no sense. Tv was on top of a broken dresser on one side of the room instead of I front of the bed and there was an extremely stained sofa in the room that was unnecessary. Bottles of shampoo & conditioner on wall in shower were empty and tissue holder also empty. Didn’t get to try free breakfast because it was so crowded

Overall for the price and the view I can’t complain to much but the toilet didn’t work most of the time and the room was not fully clean (the persons soap was still open in the shower from before me) the desk was falling apart and the fridge was sticky. The fridge also leaked on the floor which is probably why there was damage to the desk. The picture kept falling off of the wall. There was also a very loud water rushing noise that kept happening and woke me up a few times throughout the night Just a few things that happened.

Love that it was by the lake. Rooms were old and in need of much work and upgrades. The staff was nice and accommodating by switching us to other rooms.

Lake view and pool. Grass was not maintained at all. Nice stay.

Beautiful views

Great amenities. The pool and bar were both very nice. We had an issue with the air conditioner in our room leaking a huge puddle of water overnight. I told housekeeping and she said she would get it taken care of. We returned that evening to it still there. I spoke to front desk as it was getting larger and a hazard for my kids to fall in and he just simply said can I use a towel. This amount of water would take way more than 1-2 towels to clean up and what am I supposed to do with these soaking wet towels afterwards? He did get it cleaned up after I told him this. Then after swimming with a group of 10 plus people we couldn’t find towels anywhere for the pool. We had to ask and wait 20 mins and he seemed a little bothered by it. But there is a sign that says do not come inside wet please. Not sure what to do without towels. The next morning our belongings were stolen out the back of our truck overnight so not the safest either.

A helpful woman moved me for the second two nights and that room was quieter and just fine.

Location was good .The beds were comfortable. The down fall was after we checked in we had a issue with the toilet make a noise every 4 minutes went to front desk and told them the lady wrote it down on paper and said she wasn't sure if maintenance guy had left for the day (Sunday ) the day we checked in if he had left it would be Monday before they could look at it ..so Monday he fixed it from making the noise but then we had water in the bathroom floor he came back worked on it again Tuesday same thing water back in floor again that time the guy put longer piece on pieces in tank which stopped the water from spraying out of top of lid after flushing .my friend went to the desk on Mon and Tues to front desk to let them know we were still having trouble with toilet while I attended to my mom .My friend told the lady at desk we should be compensated some for the inconveniences the lady said she would have to talk to manager then told her they would give us 20% discount due to we were staying 5 nights and ..When we checked out only got a $20 credit was not happy with that but my friend told the lady she had talked to that she wasn't being truthful she had said 20% not $20 cause she would of never agreed to that for our inconveniences..Other than that the other workers were friendly
