Location, size of rooms, cleanliness, felt safe, fair price 1) You cant extend your reservation through booking.com and if you make a new one, they want to charge you $30 for an early check in fee... but if you just book directly at the property, you dont have to pay that, just an extra $5 +$2 if you use a card. Ridiculousness tbh. 2) They force housekeeping on you on day 3 whether you want it or not. I am a very clean, very private person. I clean up after myself (i even travel with lysol wipes, mr. Clean erasers, toilet cleaner, and my own trash bags, linens, and towels...) and i use my own linens, so i never needed housekeeping during my 6 day stay there, but i was rudely told the morning of the 3rd day that I HAD to let them in, no arguments... and even though I tried to refuse service every other day, they still knocked on the door, which leads to 3) No do not disturb signs... 4) No breakfast. They have what appears to be a very nice space opposite the front desk intended for hot breakfasts/buffets of some sort, but they dont offer it nor do they offer a grab and go, in fact, they also charge $2 for a bottle of water and $1.50 for a can of soda. 5) Lighting in the rooms also leaves a lot to be desired. I had trouble putting on makeup/doing my lashes bc its so dark and the lights are so dim... even with all of them switched on.

This is one of two properties in the Houston area with the same name, the other near Pasadena. Subjectively it's a step above Motel 6. Fairly clean, towels are more substantial and not as see through, maid service daily, it has all the basics. The indoor bar fridge was turned off with a puddle of water in the freezer portion but it was a separate freezer and fridge. Amenities were basic including the small packets of shampoo and conditioner. Would of been nicer with more furniture like more nightstands or small reading lights or table lamps but the room has minimum furniture and the table and chair was a plus. The television has a good variety of channels. I reserved a room for 5 people but there were only two queens so be aware that just because it allows you to reserve a room for 5, the room itself may be able to accommodate in name only. There's no breakfast, meals or snacks available. Lots of nearby fast food and especially Asian restaurants. No roaches seen and we were out on the far inside of the motel so very little highway noise. Decent value for the amount paid.

I liked the location There was trash in the hallway, trash cans overflowing had a stinch in the hallway by my room. It was hot and the staff was rude as hell. The elevator didn’t work had to carry luggage upstairs to the 3rd floor and never received my deposit
