Convenient location to Univ of Houston. Hilton quality.

I don’t really have any complaints but the lids of the Togo cup of complimentary coffee in the room was super dusty. There is no dusty spot in the room but that.

Everything the hotel was just lovely Construction, but that's improvement which is a plus.

Staff were all great. Eric’s restaurant staff was wonderful as well. LOTS OF CONSTRUCTION GOING ON ( July 2026)!!!!!!There was very little visibility/instruction provided as to how to get to the property. My gps took me to the area and I drove around for 1.5 hours trying to figure out how to get to the hotel. This was my first time in Houston. It was raining and very dark. The signs were not pointing in the right direction and the area to the garage said road closed. I was so disappointed. I then ended up on a street that lead to a very “interesting looking” part of town. I got lost called the property twice. The female who answered said she would send someone to meet me that didn’t happen. The other person basically just told me to use my GPS. This after I told him 10 times I was using the GPS. It appeared English was neither of their first language( not trying to be offensive. Maybe they didn’t understand what I was saying) . After waiting for the person to come meet me for about 20 minutes in this “interesting” neighborhood I made the mistake of calling Houston police. I was in full meltdown mode at this time because I was completely lost, unaware of my surroundings and didn’t feel safe. They gave me the run around and finally the dispatcher said he would send someone(7/23/26 approx 9pm—10pm). I waited for 45 minutes the police never showed up …wow …thanks for nothing Houston police!!!!!! I called the property again and this time I was able to speak to William at the front desk who became an instant life saver. Though the first 10 minutes he had to hear me meltdown, he was exercising as much patience as possible. William stayed in the phone and was my personal gps until I arrived. So thankful!!!!! Overall stay was good. I DID NOT like how dark the rooms were. I’m not understanding this new decision with hotels to have less light. I could barely see how to apply cosmetics in the bathroom it was so dark . Night reading, for me, was also a challenge.

Very clean room. Staff were amazing. Had a small problem with door lock and for the inconvenience they immediately compensated me by adding miles to my account. This is like my 3rd time staying here and will be coming back.

Great staff, clean and convenient location for a swim meet at the campus natatorium. The only issue is some limitation during the weekend for food or early breakfast around (before 7am) at a walk distance - during summer. Overall, really nice and we would stay again.
