Holiday Inn Houston Intercontinental Airport by IHG

Cons: Walked in my room and it had a musty smell. Carpet was dirty. Shower was very odd - one day it worked fine, then the next night there was little water pressure. One day I walked in bathroom and an earwig walked out from under the sink. I didn’t use shuttle or eat breakfast so can’t comment on those. If you’re not planning to spend much time in the hotel, and just want something to sleep in. It’s great. I spent most of my time in Houston city about 20–30 minutes away, and parked my car for $20.

Cons: No hot water. The staff is very helpful in relocating us to the Sonesta hotel 3 miles away.

Great staff and location When I checked in they had no water and I wasn't notified and 5 hrs later the water was turned back on but no hot water and next they the water pressure were horrible they changed us to a diferent room but when we got there the room were completely unclean and I went downstairs and the manager wasn't helpful but the regular check in person. Was very polite and she brought us to the first floor to take a shower and there was still no hot water it wasn't a great experience at all ..and also the pool is unsafe open to the public I was able to witness a neighbors coming from the back jumping in the pool on their underwear not bathing suites also some of them bath in their clothes..

Great, clean room great food at the restaurant

The staff were very nice and helpful. The facility just wasn’t up to par. Also, the morning during check out, there was no hot water for at least 3 hours. I couldn’t shower, because the water was freezing! I had to end up taking a wash up, which really isn’t sufficient in this Texas heat. I really think I should get money back or a free night stay at any Holiday Inn for this huge inconvenience.

Proximity to the airport, clean room Wifi did not work in the room so I had to sit in the lobby to use my computer.

Lobby and restaurant no air conditioning

Very close to the airport, and the shuttle service is such a convenience to go back and forth. Easy check-in and check out and room service kept the room clean daily. Overall customer service was good and staff were helpful. Facilities could be updated a bit. There wasn't any bottled water in the room. The shower gel was never topped up, and the soap dispenser near the sink fell off the wall while there. Room should have drinking water available.

Breakfast was great

No hot water for the morning shower. The airport shuttle bus did not drop me off at my correct terminal (Term) at 5am and the driver would not accommodate saying it is not the hotel policy to go there.

Old hotel with loose and noisy plumbing, breakfast was good

Airconditioning in room poor. Food good but unable to get a beer or wine with it. Confusion about where to pick up shuttle. Ended up getting a taxi. Pool good.
