I enjoyed learning about the hotel’s history and the warm welcome we received upon our arrival. I found the room to be excessively humid, and the air conditioning seemed to be malfunctioning. The constant noise from the elevator doors and the toilet running on and off made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.

The staff was friendly and quicker resolved my issue.

My stay was amazing. The staff went above and beyond. The buffet breakfast was outstanding. I will be staying here for all my business trips.

The shower was lovely. Staff was friendly. Impressed by valet. Breakfast- severely understaffed. The one and only server was extremely friendly and was being pulled in several directions, at one point there were over 30 customers! When another person did show up- it was clear they were either in training or from another department since the main man had to give constant direction. Afternoon waitress brought me the wrong drink- apologized and said she’d bring me the right one (Diet Coke) I said I was fine sticking to water if they didn’t have it. She said ‘no no we have it’ and brought out another drink. Not Diet Coke. I figured it tasted off and I was cutting my losses, only for her to say (after I paid) well it’s Diet Pepsi and some people can taste a difference… uh yeah. Why would you insist you have it if you know you don’t. Transparency. Restaurant seating was extremely worn down and dirty- if the cushion moved you were getting an eye full of first and crumbs. The AC is unbelievably loud.

Ok hotel but for the price there are many better options. It feels old and kind of run down, will not be going back.

We did a staycation here for our 23rd wedding Anniversary and we enjoyed the hotel so much. The room was really nice. We were surprised to find a card and a cheese cake waiting for us when we arrived to the room we were comped breakfast and were given drink vouchers. They really let out the red carpet for us. The bedding was very clean the bed was huge. Everything worked light, toilet, hot and cold water as well as the air. We’ll definitely be back.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was spacious and very clean. A beautiful historic building.

I loved the breakfast, layout, and valet service. Although the valet service was wonderful, I wished parking was free.

The only “issue” we had was the shower/tub. While using the shower the tub wouldn’t drain quick enough, soI was ankle deep in water while showering.

Room was very big clean and accommodating facilities were great and clean. Staff was great peaches and the other bartender were so good to us. The food was great. Location is great. There’s nothing bad to say about Magnolia. We loved our stay.

Bathroom doors and set up are awkward. Towels were damp upon arrival. Good location to go to Astros game

Front desk personnel were friendly and helpful

The room was clean but the layout was horrible. Fridge and coffee maker were in the restroom area. They did accommodate us by letting us check in early but we didn't get the king room we had originally booked. Double bed room was small and crowded.

Rooms were super clean and stock with all necessities. Valet was excellent, the opened the doors and greeted you with smiles. Close to Daikin Park. 10 minute walk. Reasonable deposit of 100.00. Will be booking again.

Advertising photos always do the trick. Hotel was truly dirty. After check-in we were greeted by a dirty elevator with, dirt, tissue and more on the floor. It was still there the next morning. In the room, the a/c vent had condensation and streaks of mold. Very disappointing considering it’s a Marriott Tribute brand.
