Ramada Limited Cockeysville

Love this place and love the fact that I can stay here with my kids and they have a pool during the summer. Staff always friendly and I love staying here for a week or a day its always great !!!! Definitely give 5 stars.

I reserved a non-smokers, bedroom 2 days prior to my arrival. When I arrived, I was not given the same room, all were sold out for $$even reserved spaces; I was given a smokers room and NO key. I had to ask the staff to unlock the door for me with their master anytime I left my room; one of these times, the housekeeper had the key, and I had to wait for them to locate him to unlock my door. The room smelt awful, the bathrooms are filthy, the towels and bedding are stained and the beds reek, nonetheless the entire room. I asked for a clean bed set the day I arrived at 6-7pm, the woman at the front desk was rude and dismissive. She claimed I would have to wait for the morning for new sets and towels because the housekeeper was gone for the day. When I gave this woman pushback, she immediately started recommending I cancel the room and get a refund. I took a bus 8 hours from home and would then be stranded trying to find a hotel that fits in my pay range. When I told her this, she continued to show zero sympathy or accountability for selling my room after I had already reserved it and did not even try to look for clean bedding or towels. The bed's mattress topper had a cigarette burn straight through to the mattress. The bedding, pillows and their cases had individual stains. Once I did get "clean" bedding and towels (late around 3pm the next day; I asked first thing in the morning), I located a disgusting amount of another humans body hair all over the towel. there is more....

Clthe staff all around was very helpful and polite it was very clean and quiet looking forward to going back again

The staff tried to lie and say I booked a smoking room when I know I did not they tried not to give me a refund after I checked in, went to the room and the room smelled like urine and smoke. We went to the desk to let them know that I cannot stay in that room, and I would much rather just go back to wherever I was before because I wasn't comfortable staying there because I have numerous health conditions that make staying in that room hard for me. There was a burnt mattress sitting outside. One of the people from inside was sitting outside on the sidewalk smoking they gave a couple a dirty towel and they only gave one towel and told them they could only get one to a day there was no ice so a man had to pay in quarters. When I went back to check the reservation, it literally said that the one request I had was non-smoking then he tried not to give me my refund back. I'm honestly scared for when that refund does finally come back to my card because he took my card number down so I don't even feel comfortable keeping the money in the account where that card was used to pay and it's been almost 3 days and I still have yet to get my refund back. It says it's pending, but I haven't gotten it back. Honestly that place is a walking health hazard and should be shut down immediately.

I have no doubt that the chambermaids work hard. I left a tip as I always do to say thank you. That’s not the issue. The issue is at the property is just in a horrible state of this repair. But the rate reflects that so what can you say?

BREAKFAST NOT GOOD

Let’s face it, if you need a roof over your head and a place to sleep and that’s all you require then this is a decent choice. Expect nothing more.

It was bedbugs on the bed I just left give key back

Bathroom wasn't cleaned at all so we didn't shower. Hair in the tub, no toilet paper on the holder or soap by the sink!

This property is absolutely appalling. We were met in the parking lot with fighting, the smell of drugs, drunk people, and obvious prostitutes. The room smelled horribly of cigarettes, and the mattress had a blood stains including a bloodied handprint --of which I have pictures. I have never felt so unsafe as I did in this property. I immediately returned my key & checked out. I didn't receive confirmation of check out until the following morning either despite my "stay" being less than 10 minutes, just long enough to inspect, take pictures for proof, and leave. It was horrible: dirty, dingy, and dangerous.

everything the continental breakfast was horrible. They didn’t have cereal and milk and four waffles no syrup nothing like that. It was disgusting.

Once we got the room, it was pretty hot and muggy so we turned on the air-conditioning. Shortly after we got there a lady came knocking at the door and said she was there to collect the towels. (Huh?) She went to the bathroom and walked out with two towels saying she had left us one. There were two of us. We told her we would each need our own towel and after she appeared to give it some deep thought, she left us a second towel. We went out to get a bite to eat and when we came back later in the evening, the room was still hot and muggy. The air-conditioning did not work. It was uncomfortable, but we figured it was survival because at that point it was too late to consider complaining and hoping another room was available. It did make for an uncomfortable night though. A hotel should never use a room that does not have air-conditioning in the middle of the summer, or heat in the winter. Needless to say I this hotel is not recommended ever. And in truth, I am going to try very hard to never have to book a room with any hotel in this franchise ever again.
