The room was clean, staff was friendly

I STRONGLY DISLIKED that these people violated the agreement which stated I would pay upon arrival to the property / checkin. However when I pulled out cash to pay upon checking in. I was informed my credit card was charged for the full stay BEFORE I arrived. I will never stay there again. Upon entering the lobby you encounter immediate sauna like heat. Its old and needs UPDATING.

The room was very clean, area seemed to be very safe (business district area) and convenient to downtown. Parking was limited for the size of hotel. Breakfast room had no air and was very stuffy but otherwise great food options. A good stay for 1 night.

There was night road construction that continued until 5 AM in the morning. The room I was put in was at the front of the hotel directly in front of the construction and the noise made it impossible to sleep.

Breakfast area was clean. However when something empty the staff did not understanding English. 1 morning waited 45 mins for scrambled eggs which never came so we left to go get breakfast. Gentlemen in that area was unfriendly never said anything other what and never smiled. Also we were never informed that there were going to be cats and dogs there especially having allergies.

The breakfast was delicious and fresh and there were a lot of options to choose from. The smell in the room was a little off, maybe the rugs could be cleaned often.

Amazing on a couple of fronts (customer service, staff friendliness, cleanliness and breakfast). Loved our stay over there and highly recommend this property. Parking can be tight if there are vans parked on the upper parking lot (there’s one in the basement too which is a covered parking so helpful during winters) as there wouldn’t be enough space to maneuver due to the size between the parking spaces. The property is 100% non-smoking property however people smoke right outside the main/back door making the parking lot smell like substances and if you like to keep your windows open to breathe fresh air, you may not want to do that as you may inhale cigar being smoked downstairs! The vent in the washroom doesn’t emit a sound but it is working (as per the hotel staff) and it may take time to clear the fog or steam but imho, it takes a lot of time and if the door is not kept open, the moisture smell may spread into the entire room. Overall a GREAT stay with amazing staff onboard.
