I found the property to be wonderful!

My rooms AC was not working effectively. Room was hot for most of my stay. Dog barking in thy room next to me was annoying. Not sure why pets are allowed in the hotel.

It was great experience enjoyed great getaway.

I’ve traveled almost all over this world, and the staff at this hotel was the best! I couldn’t believe it! No WIFI in my room! Only bad thing but, very important thing!

In addition, the recycle was overflowing. We would have liked to be able to throw away our bottles with ease. The internet was down for our entire stay. I was planning on working some and was unable. My daughter was planning on catching up on a show and was unable. I know during day two someone was out looking at the internet, however, this issue was not resolved.

After a long day of travelling, I arrived at the hotel. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean with comfortable beds. Hotel appear busy with guests, as it was a holiday weekend; however, it was not crowded. I did not have to wait long for the elevators. The hotel is in walking distance to several eating establishments. I would book this particularly hotel again.

Comfortable room. Pleasant staff and location at a mall and near space center and botanic gardens a plus. The Valet Jay was exceptionally helpful, providing shuttle service to downtown restaurant.

That said, there were several disappointments. The pool area did not match the photos online. The chairs were much more basic than pictured, the surrounding area was concrete instead of brick, and the overall atmosphere felt less luxurious than expected. The shower water pressure was very weak. The room door was difficult to open and had to be pulled firmly to fully latch when closing. While walking through the halls, I noticed several room doors that appeared closed but could have easily been pushed open because they had not latched properly. There were also a few smaller issues. The coffee cup lids did not fit properly, and the breakfast buffet was mediocre, especially for the $18 price. I even noticed a dirty plate mixed in with the stack of clean plates. On the positive side, a regular cup of coffee from the café was reasonably priced at $3.22. While the room was generally clean, I did find a hair and a makeup stain on one of the pillows. Overall, the stay was decent thanks to the friendly staff and comfortable bed, but the property did not quite live up to the expectations set by the photos and amenities.
