Love the layout of the house worked perfect with my young adult children. Plus the kitchen was perfect for making meals for everyone. Tesla maps take you to a different street with same house number. Use the directions provided by host or Apple or Google maps.

Everything it was perfect

The cabin was so welcoming and cozy! Fully equipped kitchen and so many extras. We enjoyed the game room too! We’ll definitely be back! Not a complaint , more of just an FYI… the shower door doesn’t close all the way shut. Again not a big deal….

This cabin was absolutely wonderful, extremely spacious, very clean and fully stocked with everything you might need. Mark the owner is kind, patient and responded rapidly! We had a little issue with missing bedding for the sofa bed and he responded within 30 seconds at midnight and handled it immediately! We were visiting Idyllwild for our son’s wedding. The location is perfect in a private area yet very close( 5 minutes) from town and all the festivities. I would recommend Eagles Nest to anyone needing a place to stay in beautiful Idyllwild! Thank you Mark! I would have liked more lighting and maybe some stepping stones out to the back unit for it was a bit difficult to see out there at night. Also, nothing having to do with the property, yet a suggestion to guests unfamiliar with the area. Do not turn right out of the property and then use google maps for it navigates you to use Old Control road which is an unpaved very terrible road for six miles! My son and his family’s got stuck and they literally had to abandon their vehicle with two small children and no phone reception! Just an FYI.

I think maybe there should be some mention of the cabin being on a dirt road, even though it was nicely graded. I think that might be an issue if there was rain or snow.

The dishwasher needs repair. The soap release didn't always work.

The home was nestled amongst the pine trees and set apart from other homes. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. The AC was nice to have on the warm summer days. The owner was responsive and helpful to our questions.

It’s nestled high in the Pines yet it’s close to town. We love the property however there are two things to improve: the bed could be more comfortable upstairs and the stove top needs adjustment so it can be on a lower setting, otherwise it’s our favorite place to stay in Idyllwild.

Far exceeded anything I expected. It was a very spontaneous trip so I didn’t really do much research. Arrived and host had nice music already playing and ac on. Cabin was a dream home HGTV show ready. Nothing. Perfect as is

Very clean and good location The property only have one shower.

Beautiful property. I liked the size of the lot for my dogs and the house had all the comforts of home. Will stay again when in town. The driveway was a bit rough for my friends with a sedan. We had a 4wd Pathfinder and were good.

My husband and I have been coming to Eagle's Nest cabin for over 10 years now I believe, and it's always a wonderful experience. The surprise snow fall on the Friday we left an nice surprise too! There was nothing we didn't like. This is always been a great place to stay in Idyllwild.

Loved it. Very comfy. Mosquitoes. Seriously, we liked everything. Would suggest some sort of signage at driveway.

We really liked this log cabin. It's big, friendly and cozy. We were there in September/October while it was raining. We could make a fire, which made our stay even nicer. The log cabin is big. It has two stories. One bedroom is on the upper level and the other bedroom is on the lower level. There is also a separate cabin with another bedroom, which we did not use. We liked Idyllwild very much. A small and very charming village with many shops and restaurants. We were there during the Songwriters Festival. This is a small music festival with very welcoming host/performers/visitors. We really enjoyed our stay! We had a bat in the bathroom. It was not really a problem. Somebody opened the window and removed the fly screen and the bat escaped through the window. Like I said: it was not a problem except that we were scared first.
