We stay at one of the cabins several times each year. They are rustic but also serviceable for a weeks stay in Idyllwild. Location was good.

Stayed in Fern room. Check-in and out were easy. The room was clean. The bed was comfy. Other furnishings ok for our 3 night stay (dining table, and loveseat and chair in LR), but loveseat would be rough if planning to stay inside more. We didn’t used the fireplace, but fire starters were provided. Overall, our expectations were met. Owner was very helpful over phone in providing more details about each of the rooms available. Fern is located more towards the back of the property, away from the road which we appreciated. Thank you for a great stay for our escape from the hot desert!

The place is cute and if we were staying in a different cabin, it might have gotten a better review. Our cabin, Ponderosa, had a smell to it when we first checked in (love the easy check-in, by the way). We turned on the A/C and opened a window, but by the time we got back later at night, it still smelled bad -- like an animal urinated in it -- and we smelled it all night. Fortunately our stay was 1 night. Our friends were staying in another cabin, and theirs was nicer (but also had been updated recently), so I know the overall accommodations are better than what we got. Be sure to bring your own lotion (shampoo/conditioner & a soap bar are provided). But K-cups, creamer pods, and sugar are provided, which was great. No nightstands to place your phone, reading material, or glass of water because the bed takes up all the space. Also difficult for the person next to the closet to get out of bed. Road noise was not bad. Too warm to use the fireplace but we sat in the chairs next to it for morning coffee, and the chairs were comfy. It is a cozy space.

The location was great. The bed was very comfortable so I was able to get up rested every morning. Parking was tight.

It was a perfect stay. We'll be back no doubt.

I liked how close it was to the town, everything is walking distance. The room was extremely clean and has everything you need. The bed felt comfortable (on the firm side) and the pillows were amazing. The shower has great water pressure and is tall people friendly. If I had to choose anything it would be the room was hot. So simply leave the ac on during summer time when guest check in would be lovely. But truly everything is lovely here.

Good hotel room .very close to market places and shop.

I felt so cozy. The decoration was so beautiful and so nice and I loved that they had coffee and that they had Netflix on the TV. That was nice to enjoy a nice movie after a long day.

The location and the interior vibe of the room were both magical! Will definitely stay again.

Love this place ! Very quaint have stayed here several times and love going back. Walking distance to all shops and restaurants yet feels like you are out in nature
-
It was spacious and had plenty of books for a good read. Hot water in the shower run out fast.
-
Rodents in the walls above ac. chewing woke us at 4 am.
-
Good location. Close to town great communication from the office

Very cute and cozy. Clean and welcoming.

Room was run down no closet or hooks to hang clothes. Bathroom rusted rails and drawers broken. No light in room very dark. No hairdryer shower knobs hard to turn. Place needs major overhaul old and run down a lot of $ for that.

The AC worked great. My only negative comment would be to change the filter as it was very dusty. Very convenient to have a digital door code to self check in and out. For the price, this cabin was phenomenal. The king size bed was very very comfortable and had a pullout trundle underneath. I’d like to come back in the winter time and use the fireplace! it’s walking distance to restaurants and shops. Highly recommend staying here!

Exactly as imagined, warm rustic atmosphere, western themed comfortable room. Private.

We had a wonderful stay at this very cosy cabin and truly enjoyed every moment. The location was lovely and convenient, the amenities were excellent, and everything was thoughtfully maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel very welcome and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

Bring your own firewood. Easy walk to town. Rustic but affordable. We would of liked a table and two chairs, we stayed in the redwood. The bed was comfortable.
