No complaints. Great place.

First time staying here - wonderful get away from the 4th of July firecrackers that our doggo (and we humans) do NOT like. Everything earned a 5 star excellent rating; Jessica at the front desk was absolutely the best!

The room was a little on the small side, so next time we’d love to book a larger room. We visited during the summer, and the only thing we missed was having a freezer in the room. We had to walk to the restaurant to get ice, which was a little inconvenient. Everyone on the staff was so kind and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We’d be happy to stay here again and would definitely recommend it to others!

Very nicely updated hotel/cabins/retreat. There are many nice amenities whether you want to stay on the property, such as a pool and restaurant, but it is also close to the center of Idyllwild. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Had a great stay, the only negative is the mattress was not that comfortable.

"This was our second time staying here, and it was just as wonderful as the first. My husband, our two small dogs, and I really enjoyed our visit. We were looking for a relaxing spot to spend the 4th of July weekend, and this was exactly what we needed. The property is beautiful and spacious, everything was very clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We will definitely be back!"

Unfortunately, our stay was overshadowed by a serious noise issue. After returning to our cabin around 10:30 p.m., we could clearly hear a loud TV coming from the adjoining cabin. The noise continued all night, making it impossible to sleep. About 3:00 a.m., I tried to report the problem but discovered there was no after-hours phone number listed in the guest info book. I left messages on the main number, but the disturbance continued until 5:00 a.m., and the TV was still on when we woke at 7:00 a.m. When we reported the issue the next morning, we were told the after-hours number was posted at the main office. Expecting guests to walk through a dark, wooded property in the middle of the night is unrealistic. The number should have been included in the guest information book, and it would have been appreciated if staff had acknowledged that oversight. A few other details also detracted from our stay. We had reserved a queen bed (no king was available) but the bed appeared to be only a full size - uncomfortable for my 6'3" partner. The bath towels were well past their useful life, and the shower's thin plastic curtain could also use an upgrade. The property has a lot of charm & potential, but better overnight guest support and a few improvements to the accommodations would make for a better experience.

I live in Palm Springs, this was just a quick over night trip. It was beautiful - the room was immaculate - the staff was friendly, the restaurant was good! I recommend this place to everyone!

The grounds are beautiful and well maintained.

We have stayed at this property five times and every time it's always amazing. To the staff, the room, and the amenities.
-
Beautiful sights wonderful atmosphere and very comfortable rooms my only issue with the room was how fast the hot water ran out in the shower other then that 10/10 would highly recommend staying here!

The suite with two bedrooms worked well for us.

This retreat is so beautiful and peaceful. We are a family of 5 and it was perfect for our anniversary getaway with our kids. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The grounds are very quiet and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again.

Staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. The room was amazing and the facilities were beautiful and nicely maintained. This was our second time visiting and first time staying overnight, and we'll plan to come back soon. On-site restaurant and bar, The Peak, is definitely worth the visit.
-
Beautiful property and very friendly and helpful staff! Our room was large, comfortable, so charming, and spotlessly clean. The mattress and pillows were very soft. I prefer much firmer but it was only one night so wasn’t a problem. Highly recommend!
