Comfort Inn Avon-Indianapolis West

When I arrived in the afternoon I was an hour early and the room hadn't been cleaned yet. I knew an early check-in might not be possible, I enquired, they said it wasn't ready. I explained that I would be coming back at midnight and they said that wasn't a problem. When I returned, got my keys and went to the room the room had not been cleaned from the previous guest - bed unmade, sheets old, towels everywhere, etc. I explained at the front desk. However, since all the rooms were filled, they couldn't transfer me to an available clean room. Since apparently there was no cleaning people on duty - which is also problematic - they had to call a housekeeper to drive back to the hotel and then clean the room. It wasn't a HUGE deal, maybe delayed me getting in the room for a half hour-ish, but I mean... you guys had one job, so to speak. Anyway other than that bad start the rest of the visit was adequate.

The hotel room cleaning needs to be thoroughly checked and inspected before a room is released to a guest. There were stains inside the comforter. The building is old and needs renovation. I would not stay at this hotel again. The toilet was so low to the ground and there are no roll in showers for handicap challenges.

Nice and clean. Friendly staff. Skyler at the front desk was a huge help. Well tended and stocked breakfast.

Overall 7/10. It's your standard hotel. The beds and pillows suck. Clean room, decent breakfast options, friendly staff. The bathroom was small and oddly laid out. Also, the lady in charge of breakfast watches over everyone like Hawkeye which I found uncomfortable as I'm looking at the options and she's actively correcting me as I choose the "wrong" cup.

The breakfast was very good and had a great variety of options. The staff was very helpful.

We were very pleased with our stay at Comfort Inn. The staff were friendly and the room was clean.

The lock to the room we had rented wasn't working so they had to switch us to a different room. We did not get the King sized bed that we had reserved, so that was a little inconvenient. The room was clean, the breakfast was good, and the staff were helpful.

The breakfast worker was very nice and attentive. The late night worker took very long to assist us. 5/10

Staff gave out personal guest information which is a direct violation of their privacy policy and extremely concerning if this is how they operate I do not recommend

It covered the basic needs.

The ceiling in the shower had black mold and that area had a leak while taking a shower. The night manager said he couldn’t do anything about it and was not willing to notify the manager. The day manager was unaware of the situation until I showed her a picture of the ceiling. She was upset because she was unaware of the situation and took the room out of service and would look into it. On a positive note, the breakfast was good and the bed was comfortable.

Bed had a big dark stain. Breakfast was also underwhelming and was not eaten.

There was a problem with our check-in because we did not get the room we had originally booked. But the manager was excellent and took great care of us to help us understand why that happened and then compensated us for the error. We were extremely satisfied with our stay and will be returning.

Have stayed here 4 times in the last 3 months. Always a clean room. Staff is always welcoming. Monte that works the front desk is ALWAYS so helpful!! (He remembers my name, I have stayed so many times now). This is my go-to when my son plays baseball anywhere near Indy/Brownsburg. Breakfast is an added bonus!
