Fort Harrison State Park Inn

Beautiful with a lot of interesting history. Wish there would have been fresh fruit offered at breakfast.

Charming, clean Checkout process was not clear. My actual checkout tools 20 seconds, but I didn’t know if anything was needed from me so I was in line for many minutes.

Beautiful old building with great proximity to the park. I liked that breakfast was included. Cleaning staff may need to bump it up a bit… Dirty Kleenexes near the dresser on the left side on the floor, and hair in the bathroom sink and bathroom shower

My partner and I drove from Florida and stayed here while attending Gen Con. The staff was uncommonly friendly and helpful even though we checked in at 1:00AM. They have a nice, thoughtful breakfast spread full of all the standard fare, even the waffle maker. In addition, their front desk has many cute knick knacks and souvenirs featuring iconography from the State Park. We were told that every room is completely unique, and even though we had the basic King room booked, our room was huge! Sparsely furnished but it really doesn't matter because the floor space is so nice and open. The mattress was DOWNY! I was so comfortable all night and couldn't be happier. The whole building is clean and well maintained. I enjoyed my stay immensely, and will be returning for next year's Gen Con.

It’s a charming property with lots of character. The carpeting in our room had stains. The bathroom hairdryer was dirty/dusty.

The staff and facilities were top notch. We got in at 2am due to some car issues, and the gentleman at desk was waiting at the front door to help us in. He was also quite informative about the history of the building and grounds. The bedrooms and beds are very comfortable. Each room had it's own character. No cookie cutter rooms here. The state park entrance is just down the road, and you get free entrance when you are a guest at the hotel. Breakfast was the weak link. It was adequate, but had very limited hot food choices, and no fresh fruit.

The bathroom had no place to put toiletries. The beds were extremely soft. The breakfast was poor.

Quiet historical building On 3rd floor next to elevator. Room needed to be GI’d clean. Wouldn’t pass an old Sergeants inspection. Lightbulbs burnt out in lamp. Carpet needs to be cleaned or better yet replaced. Linens need to be replaced.
