La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Indianapolis South

Our air conditioning quit working during the night and only heat would come out. We were very uncomfortable, and didn’t get good sleep. When I reported it the next morning they said they would speak with the manager when she got in and have her call me. When she didn’t call I called her number and left a message to please call me. It’s been 2 days and she hasn’t called. We won’t be staying there our next time through. I will say that other than this problem the facility was nice and reasonably priced.

Great for truckers with with plenty of space to park

We stayed in room 115 King Suite, We came in for a concert and was staying a couple of days. When we got to our room it had a very musty smell to it. Walking down the hallway the floors were filthy and then as we approached our room the floor right before our door was soaked. The bathroom, the toilet rocked side to side and felt like the floor was going to give out, the shower head could not be adjusted downward or in any way so it sprays the wall in front of it and causes water to get all over the floor and toilet. The floors in our room were very tacky so much so we had to wear our sandals in the room as it felt either wet or just dirty or both. Around the jacuzzi tub the floor boarder was peeling off the wall along with some other areas as well. Worst sleep I've ever gotten in a hotel as the bed had a huge cavity in the center of the bed and worn out. The blankets were very thin and there were no extras of anything to put on the bed. The blanket we had also had a cigarette burn in it as well and was melted. We were going to bed at about 11pm and the people across the hall were very loud and you could hear everything in adjoining rooms along with anyone who was outside the windows getting in and out of cars. I would not recommend staying there again. Only good part really was the employee that night we got there was very kind. I know the place is under construction but this was insane for the cost of the room.

The property needed a little bit of a upkeep it seemed like they were probably working on that at this time everything in the room was very clean and it had a really nice breakfast bar

The room was clean. I was very disappointed that they don’t use real covers/ comforters ( cheap low budget old blankets and sheets) however the elevator looked like something from the projects/ hood. The pool was good but there were no towels to dry off and the breakfast could have been better. I can’t stress this enough. Fully cook the meat/ sausages. It’s bad enough it’s the cheapest kind but overall I stayed one night and it was okay for the money that I paid. If you are passing through for 1 night I would recommend but longer than that, you might want to rethink it

The room was spacious and quiet. The water was hot. There were black ants everywhere!

The hotel overall is clean and the pool was nice. The location to restaurants and stores was excellent and it’s only a 20 min drive to downtown. It’s next to the highway so if you are on that side it can be noisy. They are remodeling so there may be construction noise during the day but we didn’t notice any. The rooms were decent and did everything we needed them to. The outdoor pool was nice especially on the hot days. For the price the hotel was great and I would absolutely stay there again if I’m in the area.

When Ifirst checked in they put me in a suite that had ACTIVE construction. Broken mirror glass, sewer smell, and out of order signs to the BATHROOM in my room. When asking to switch rooms they brought me to another one that was just as bad. They acted like I was the problem or being dramatic, was so gross. Got put into a king bed room and it was better but still run down. I get construction and updating properties but then don't sell those rooms until complete, how disgusting and unsafe. The hallways were covered in dry wall pieces and ALL of the fire detectors were covered so the dust didn't set them off, luckily there wasn't a fire they needed to detect. Ants in the room and cockroaches were found in my brothers room across the hall. Their solution? To give us the chemical spray and for us to spray for the ants and roaches OURSELVES! They offered me a $30.00 total refund for a 4 night stay difference between a suite and a normal room, makes perfect sense right? NO. They were out of breakfast items daily and did not have the food to accommodate guests. They couldn't even provide pool towels because the staff said, "housekeeping didn't wash enough this morning". Have stayed at other La Quinte hotels and have never experienced this. Worst hotel stay by far. This place needs to be shut down by health inspectors to finish construction. Staff also had messy hair and smelt horrible and just overall did not set a good appearance.

The property was undergoing renovation but otherwise it was very clean. my kids loved hanging out at the pool and going to breakfast in the morning. Check in and check out was very quick, would stay again.

Take your deposit then when you call and try to talk to them about it the receptionist wants to be rude.

The staff were friendly and the room and pool were nice. We couldn’t use the tv in the room however because the remote was missing. I asked twice for another one and was told the desk person had messaged the maintenance man. Apparently the maintenance man was busy doing other things. We never had that addressed.

Room was very clean, pool was amazing (the reason we booked with them..outdoor pool!), breakfast was good and the girls at check in were super nice. Would definitely stay with them again. My only complaint would have been glad I brought my noise machine since it was so close to the expressway. Also on our second night someone in one of the rooms on either side of us was smoking weed and it could be smelled in our hall and in our room.

The hotel was dirty, outdated, and had a bad odor. The location was convenient. The breakfast could be better.

Run!!! Until this hotel is fully renovated stay away. We were assigned a room on a construction floor. Dry wall nails littered the hallway along with dry wall dust open windows meant humid hallway. One of the two bathrooms in the suite we paid for was nothing but concrete blocks and a “sorry” sign. Sink at bar did not work because bathroom plumbing was gutted. No privacy curtain to the bedroom. Couch was horribly uncomfortable for sitting and sleeping. However the staff was very apologetic hooray for Amy and Rhonda I’m promised $80 refund discount for the inconvenience but haven’t seen it processed yet
