Room clean, tub just didn't drain well and very small area in bathroom due to pedestal sink.

I stayed here a while ago and thought the bathroom in the room smelled disgusting. The shower curtains do not have a liner and it smelled horrible. I thought this was a one off, but I stayed here again and the bathroom again had an overwhelming disgusting pee smell on the shower curtain.

Quirky and cute decor, great music down in the lobby. Laid-back atmosphere. Clean room. Good refrigerator. No microwave.

Parking for taller vehicles sucks, have to walk over two blocks and it was 100° when I was there. And not having coffee available until after 7am is pretty lame.

Front desk folks were warm and really helpful.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was not ready when expected and they went out of their way to make sure we were compensated for the inconvenience after a very long drive. We very much appreciated their wanting to make things right. The rooms were very small and the bathroom had very little storage/shelving for 3 people.

What a beautiful and unique hotel! As an Iowa native, it was so nice to be surrounded by a curated environment that was so specific to Iowa culture. My partner and I arrived later into the evening, but there was still friendly staff on standby to help us check in. Our room was very comfortable and clean; however, it was initially missing a shower curtain. We called the front desk, where they promptly arrived to our room with a shower curtain and offered to install it for us. We opted to just do it ourselves because…well, it’s a shower curtain, not rocket science. The area was lively but completely safe, and it was area to be staying in. I would absolutely recommend staying here!
