Nice size room. Clean Bed very uncomfortable. Overpriced

The hotel had a smart policy of sending you your room number before you check in so you can use your confirmation number as your door code, but we never received the room number. The person at the check in, Lord Joe Byron, was barely coherent and the check in office reeked of weed. Nothing he said made any sense and he must have asked my name 20 times. He could barely type on the computer and at one point just walked out of the office with no explanation. Somehow at some point he found my paperwork and we finally got to the room. The room was way different from the picture. At $325 and up a night you think they could make this place look presentable and do some updates. Chipped paint, janky TV mount, dirty grout around the tub, no screens on 2 out of 3 windows, and the pillows were so ridiculously thick my wife and I need chiropractic care. We had to go to Target and buy pillows. They had a relatively new Keurig with a few K-cups but no real coffee additives to speak of. We had to buy those too. Even though the local temps got down into the 30s and 40s, the room was somehow always too warm, despite NEVER turning the heat on. Our Ac unit was set to COOL and 65° with the fan on constantly at night, but it either wasn’t working right or was super inefficient. We should have been freezing in that room. Would never stay here again.

This was our third time staying here. Very pleased with our prior visits but disappointed with this one. The bathroom needs some attention and the sleeping area was just okay.

It was perfect for what it was. I needed a semi affordable one night stay in Jackson. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and the A/C was powerful. Everything I needed. It was also very quiet which was a huge plus. I was able to walk to the downtown area and not have to fight the crowds to find parking. Would stay again.

Nice place. Nice room. Our room did not have a porch light and there was no parking lot light which made going out to the car after dark a little challenging. We couldn't figure out the TV and since there doesn't appear to be any staff on duty we called and they talked us through it. It was a nice location walking distance to downtown.

The location to shopping is excellent. The property is clean and well kept. We had a king size bed in a corner room. It was small but met our needs rather nicely as we were only there for a quick overnight.

Great location. Close to downtown and within walking distance of stores and restaurants. Right nest to Miller Park. Entire place is very very outdated. Not worth the price you pay. Where is all the money they make going?? If you want cheap and nothing more than a bed then this is your place.

Convenient location. Clean room. Rustic. Bathroom could use additional shelving for cosmetics etc. overall nice
