Mountain Modern Jackson Hole

Stayed for three nights in a double queen room, the room itself was spacious with nice amenities and a comfortable bed. Motel location was perfect - just a 5-10 min walk away from everything downtown, no need to drive the car out again. Only complaint was the noise: rooms were not very soundproof.

Great hotel within walking distance to the center of town!

The hotel was wonderful. Room was nice, cute decor, outdoor pool and hottbub were fantastic. The location was perfect. I would definitely book this hotel again. We really enjoyed it.

Good for the price, and clean. The biggest issue is that the walls are VERY thin. If you’re on a bottom floor, you hear EVERY step above you. Unfortunately, the family above us has two children, who loved to run around at all hours of the night. So, sleeping was difficult. Otherwise, the property was good.

Good location but crazy parking spots (don’t even know how township even approved the plan) and bathroom design (OGM who was the architect who designed these rooms)

The staff was very helpful, the grounds were well-maintained and the rooms were clean with up-to-date electronics! Close to downtown and walkable to everything in Jackson Hole. Would stay here again!

It was very clean and different.

The carpet was very dirty, if you walked on it without shoes your feet or socks would get very dirty, The hotel was very noisy at night, we stayed on the first floor, the room above us had people walking very loudly all times of the morning starting around 4am. Must be an ongoing problem because the hotel provides ear plugs. However the property on the outside was very clean,

The place was reasonably priced, safe, clean and conveniently located. That is my base standard. However, the building has zero sound proofing...every night we could hear people above us and next to us talking loudly, banging things, walking very heavy. I could even make out adults yelling at their kids and could hear the words they were saying. An isolated case of loud neighbors? Maybe. But simply walking around your room shouldn't be heard by those below you.

Giant hot tub. Large room. Everything was exceptionally clean. Front door was hard to open and close but other than that everything was wonderful.

Great location in Jackson. Definitely would stay here again.

We enjoyed the 2-night stay at Modern Mountain. The staff were great. The accommodations were comfortable and pleasant.

The location to walk into Jackson was nice …I did not like that my flight was cancelled Friday night and I couldn’t get any type of refund $$

Amazing

We stayed in a king room on the second floor for three nights. The accommodations were clean and the front desk staff member who checked us in was friendly, although unable to give us useful info about nearby dining options or where to get a six pack (sent us to the convenience store instead of the equidistant liquor store). There is room for improvement with regard to comfort — the bed was badly worn in. We were able to rotate the mattress after the first night and enjoy somewhat better sleep. The bathroom is small and unventilated, which was somewhat awkward at times given the modest square space of the main room itself. Mountain Modern very kindly provided us with earplugs, about which we were initially confused, since our room was above street level and was facing inward to other units. It turns out that there hasn’t been satisfactory investment in soundproofing between rooms — we could hear every news broadcast, cough, and phone conversation our neighbors had throughout our stay. The room was short on conveniently located outlets, making keeping our various devices charged proved challenging. We were right above the bar/restaurant, which would have been a convenient breakfast option, had it not been a $20+ per head affair. The laundry was $10 to wash and dry a small load. All in all, the amenities are enjoyable and convenient, but unfortunately due to the comfort issues etc, I don’t think we’ll be staying at this property again should we return to Jackson.

Mountain Modern has some nice amenities and a good location, but our stay was disappointing. The motel was very noisy both at night and early in the morning, making it difficult to sleep. More concerning, the outlets serving the fridge, microwave, and coffee maker weren’t working. We didn’t realize the fridge had no power until our food started spoiling and a strong odor developed in the room. When we reported the issue, the staff offered only an apology and no other resolution. Overall, the amenities were nice, but the lack of maintenance and poor response to the problem left a bad impression.

The room was clean, spacious, and modern. The location is great and was an easy walk downtown. The soap they provided was luxurious. I never use hotel provided soap, but I loved whatever they had. I did not have time to use amenities, but everything looked wonderful. Would definitely stay here again!
