How nice the people who own this place are. Nothing.

Clean room, comfortable bed. Door to exterior needs a new bottom sweep. Hard flooring throughout wood be easier to maintain and look nice. A quick coat of paint would look nice.

I loved the fact that my room had a 2 door frig/freezer, a sink & a glass top 2burner stovetop plus a top of the line microwave. The towels were exceptionally clean and fluffy. The one thing that matters the most is that it was clean and DID NOT HAVE BEDBUGS! Thank you so much Budget Host keep up the amazing job you & your staff are doing! 👍

There wasn't much to like except the low price for an overnight stay. It's in a good neighborhood, at least, and you can feel safe walking around. There's a few stores conveniently located nearby if you need food and drinks. The air conditioners worked, too, which provided much comfort from the oppressive Midwest heat and humidity. The internet connection was horrendous. Only my cell was able to connect to the WiFi, but not my laptop. Even when my mobile WAS connected, the signal was weak. The 3 beds weren't clean. In fact, I didn't even use the blankets to cover myself. I actually used towels that appeared somewhat cleaner. There were cigarette burn holes in the blankets. The sheets were a bit stained and there were some black smudges on them, as well. The bathroom had a few ants crawling around near the shower (not to mention some human hair in the shower stall) and on the windowsill. They were anxious to get you to leave directly at checkout time of 11 a.m., even though check-in time isn't until 3 p.m., so more than enough time to have the room made up for the next guest(s), although there can't be much cleaning done in those rooms to begin with.

Good value. Stained carpet and furniture. it's aged but good for the cost.

Wow I'm impressed. For a cheap motel the rooms are better than I was expecting. My room was clean, didn't look ruined down like some cheap motels and everything worked!! Really nice room for the price I'm very happy staying here. Obviously this is a cheap place so it's not luxury but for the price not bad at all. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

The price The room smelled both smoky and mildewy. Left smoky smell on the belongings we brought in with us. There were holes in all the sheets, pillowcases, and the comforter. Holes and stains in carpet. Red stain on light switch in bathroom that may be nail polish but looks bloody and gross. Hole in the ceiling of bathroom not well patched. Toilet not sealed to floor so rocked loudly back and forth when sitting on and standing up. TV remote didn’t work so could not turn TV off or adjust volume, had to unplug to shut it off. When we plugged back in in the morning it turned on and immediately turned up the volume without us touching the remote at all so we unplugged again, as it’s clearly broken. I didn’t expect much from a motel that only cost $45 but it was truly gross and awful. Just glad we didn’t get bedbugs.

Clean, quiet & comfortable

We stayed here after a Kansas State football game because there was nothing else available. The negatives: the motel is extremely outdated, there are trains traveling through close by in the middle of the night, the bedspread had cigarette burns in it, no shampoo/conditioner/hair dryer, no hand towels, the ceiling light fixtures were disgusting, hardly any electrical outlets. The positives: no bed bugs, the bathroom and floors overall were clean, shower water was hot.

Don't get what was promised. Limited parking.strong pungent smells. Office was locked and had to ring bell to get in. Toilet moved. Cigarette burn on shower curtain. Broken lamp. TV service was fuzzy. Beds were broken in. No meals are provided so it was difficult. Within 2 blocks from a 24 hr gas station. Across the street from Sonic drive-in. Not family friendly. Stairs going up were rusted and broken.

This is hands down no joke THE most disgusting motel I have ever had the displeasure of setting foot in. Unfortunately as it was graduation weekend everything else was booked or I would have turned around and left. First of all, the place stinks so damn bad of stale cigarettes. There was hair and a hair tie in my daughters bedding. Cigarette burns on the sheet and I'm 98% certain I found a blood stain as we were leaving on my bedsheets. The chair to the desk was covered in disusting spots. The towels all had dingy brown spots, there were black smears on the walls... maybe eyeliner? The tub had burn marks and was peeling plus the shower was broken. The management live on site so you have to ring a doorbell to check in. One lady wasn't rude but none of them were what I would call nice. Avoid this place at all costs. It sounded like there were rats chewing through my AC all night. Calling this place unclean is a serious understatement.
