The gym here is excellent! The equipment is better than the big gym chain that I attend. Nice amenities like free reef safe sunscreen and multiple clean bathrooms open 24 hours throughout the property. Great staff!

The property itself was next level, I was excited to stay. Very well maintained, clean and very much a resort vibe, not just another hotel. Staff were friendly, room was clean with a comfortable bed, pool was amazing and all situated right on the beach. My only complaint was the food, what was described on the menu was different from what I got, and the manager wasn't accommodating at all. Besides that though, 10 out of 10.

The hotel is old and outdated. Don’t think I’ll be staying here again.

Location and staff where amazing We stayed in the SCP Hotel in Hilo afterwards and they have taken sustainable efforts to an amazing standard. A lot could be learnt talking with them and learning how they have removed ALL single use items and reduced their waste massively.

When I initially arrived, I came to find out we were put in a room overlooking the parking lot. I initially booked an ocean view room. In the distance, you could see the bay, and the staff will use semantics to try to justify that your upgraded room is warranted next to the parking lot. They are clearly pulling this scam on many people because the majority of their ocean view and front rooms are unavailable due to their construction project. AND IT IS A SCAM. I had to beg for them to clean the room. 2 days of making the bed and emptying the trash out of 8 nights. They literally told me I had to ask every time. I begged! I made my case in the nicest way possible, and they did resolve it by upgrading us to a view overlooking the ocean. This typical upgrade would resolve things for me, but I felt it was my duty to warn others - as I don't think many will make the same argument and get their situation rectified. We were woken daily by the construction project there-after. Sawing and drilling at 8 AM. And then there is the price gauging. They are building a Dukes now. But their current restaurant will run any family 200-400 a meal. Note: you can see the parking lot while eating.

We got off to an awkward start. The receptionist couldn't find our reservation. Eventually she found it I am the 3rd so that threw everything off. We were please with the room. We checked in and left to hit the beach right away. When we returned that evening my wife notice the room wasn't cleaned properly. There was hair left in the tub and sink and my wife had to clean it. When we mentioned it they basically brushed it off. The iron didnt work, but the brought up a new one in a timely manner. Besides that, they cleaned the room every other day which is now the standard it seems. The staff was helpful the remainder of the time. The hotel had daily activities you could attend. We took a ukulele class and signed up for a bracelet making class but had to cancel. We were running late for a dinner that evening. The have a nice game room, beautiful pools and nice views. They had a food truck night and We loved that fact that the h

Clean, quiet and well maintained. The water slide is awesome for kids and the view is beautiful! Only bummer was limited food on property but they are opening a dukes so it’s about to get better.

My family and I had a very nice stay at the Outrigger in Kona. The hotel was close to everything yet far enough away from downtown Kona that it felt peaceful and secluded. We enjoyed the hotel room, the gym, and the beautiful area surrounding the hotel. We had one problem with our air conditioner that was quickly resolved by the hotel staff.

We loved the proximity to the Kona area. The manta experience was amazing. There was snorkeling, national parks, and state parks nearby that were beautiful. It was a great place to base camp. We went and did our exploring and then came back and relaxed in the pool, hot tub, and voyager 47.

Beautiful pool, perfect sunset watch spot, picture perfect areas, convenient mini mart to shop for essentials. Love this resort.

The only issue is the renovations happening outside and how the grounds need to be walkable

Pool and location was great, and the rooms were comfortable Rooms cleaned daily and buffet breakfast to have more variety at times it seemed under staffed with the services and the A/C was noisey in the room.
