The worst experience of my life. Was not informed that the hotel chain was CLOSED PERMANENTLY 4 days prior to arrival. Although BOOKING.COM processed my payment the morning of, I still did not have any knowledge of the closure until I tried to check in. After SEVERAL phone calls to support, which was nearly impossible to find, I was hung up in multiple times by BOOKING.COM staff. After an hour of the shenanigans I booked accomodations outside te platform. Nearly 3 hrs later BOOKING.COM site finally responded which a pathetic, we're sorry, we didn't know. We can help you rebook (OUTSIDE OF MY REQUIRED AREA) with a mere $60 inconvience compensation. Last minute booking to a hotel within the facility I needed was +$250 to what I paid booking do that was NOT acceptable at all. Still have not been compensated for the extreme inconvenience and stress created by the lack of professionalism and functionality of this provider. I will NEVER boom to them again.

Nothing Very dirty, black mold, neighbors arguing upon arrival broom smelled bad, not clean, dirty towels, just outright disgusting, especially when we checked in. There was a person in the lobby that was very dirty.

For the cost, I got what I expected. It was clean, a bit worn, the staff was friendly. The breakfast was actually a bit better than I expected, it was the standard hotel fare - fresh scrambled eggs and sausage, coffee/juices, cereals, waffles, pastries, yogurt. It's a budget hotel. There were no frills and, as far as I could tell, no wifi, but there was nothing to complain about. It was a good value for the price and I would stay again if in Kalamazoo for business again.

Convenient, value, clean- friendly, responsive staff

Clean and nice worker Everything was great

Hotel was grossly overstaffed with only one person trying to handle everything from breakfast, to front desk and cleaning… obviously she wasn’t a robot so things were lacking. She did the best she could.

Door broke can’t get in closet Poor quality

My service dog Brady and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We were warmly greeted and our check-in was as seamless as could be. Everyone we interacted with at the hotel from that point forward was terrific Our room was exactly as it appeared on Booking.com. We visited during a heat wave so AC was super important - and ours worked flawlessly! Our room was clean, had lots of drawer space and the fridge and microwave worked like a charm. Both the hot water in the shower and water pressure were abundant. Our other absolute must-have is a working ice machine - and this hotel delivered! We also found the grounds safe at night for walking - which is important when you have a 100+ lb dog! We will definitely stay here again - Until next time! Thanks again! N/A

The breakfast was terrible. The location was terrible. The hotel was dirty. Extremely dirty. The outside of the hotel was terrible. Weeds, dirt, etc. Unkept parking lot. Hotel was not clean. Bedding was unsatisfactory - most likely, reused bedding. The outside landscape could’ve been better and was totally neglected. Doors were missing in the hotel room. Television did not work. Ironing board was filthy. Tub was filthy. The lobby was unsatisfactory. Very dirty. Rear door of the lobby was being propped open by a rock-unsafe. Men were congregating outside of the rear lobby door. Just a terrible , unsafe environment. The hotel needs to be torn down and relocated to a safer, more secure location.

We liked the hotel itself and the staff was friendly. Our TV remote didn't work. The desk clerk said to stand right in front of the TV to turn it on, which worked but I couldn't change the channel or turn up the volume. Then when I wanted to turn it off again I had to stand right in front of the TV and turn it off. Crappy TV and remote.

Friendly staff Location

The Staff was good and helping. I didn't like their 3pm check in and 11am checkout policy.

Hotel is rundown, cockroaches and bed bugs in the room. I would not venture out at night in this neighborhood, and I lived on the streets homeless

It's close to the university. We were there for graduation. The driveway is at an intersection so it's sometimes difficult to get out. Luckily there's a driveway to the back! Use the driveway in the back. Our room had a dresser drawer that didn't stay closed. It leans to the front, so the drawer doesn't stay closed.

Not a clean facility, hotel need major upgrades. Closet door was broken, smoke alarm no cover, more like it possibly didn’t work. Soiled bedding, the comforter. No smart television.

It's run by Indians and it shows

Had to park on the street bc staff allowed big SUV to park sideways across 3 parking spots but mostly because there was a roach crawling on the wall in my room. Shook my belongings out and left Roaches

Location Could use some improvement. The tile in the bathroom on the floor was uneven and loose. The bathroom shelves were a little dusty. I’m not used to having the sinks outside of the bathroom
