Homewood Suites by Hilton Kalamazoo-Portage

Everything was Excellent. My 2nd time staying and will be back soon. Staff was Great. Rooms were very quiet Nice and Clean.

Superb

An older property owned by Hilton. Showing its age. But, the helpful, courteous staff made our stay very nice. Hotel was quiet and comfortable and we will likely stay there again.

The electricity was out in half of our room. They put us in a new room because the maintenance guy had already left.

Great stay. Would recommend.

It was in the middle of nowhere

Dwayne in maintenance, who helped us with our luggage, and got us an upgrade. Rhonda, the assistant manager, blessed us with the perfect suite. I could keep my mom safe & we had an incredible stay. The understanding of our situation…with my mom, who has dementia. I bring her here, to give my dad a caregiver break. Checking on us via text Value The last visitors, stacked their dirty plates on the bottom, so you couldn’t tell, until you got to that plate. Very sneaky, terrible people.

A/C needs a tune-up. Incredibly loud.

The rooms were very spacious and it was great to have a functional kitchen in our room. Check-in was very friendly and easy. Large, new t.v.s in both rooms of our suite were nice to have. The cookie at check-in was a nice touch. The furniture needs to be better maintained and/ or upgraded. The desk and table in the kitchen area were both very wobbly and the covering on the kitchen chairs was flaking off and stuck all over our legs when we sat in them. We were very close to the highway and our room wasn’t soundproof at all. It was a bit hard to sleep due to the traffic noise. We were very itchy when we were trying to sleep, maybe it was the detergent the bedding was washed in or something.

Would like a more straight back chair with arms for elderly people.

Clean and great place staff great

Cheree was at the desk when we checked in. We have never had a more helpful, congenial, and knowledgeable staff member in all our travels.

room beds dirty , room smelled nasty when walked in, fridge and stove was dirty. and my 1 year olds feet were black from walking inside of the room.

We had a wonderful stay at Homewood. Upon arrival I learned the property had oversold the rooms and there were no longer any more suites that we booked available. We were upgraded to two king suites with adjoining doors, which was perfect! The property also did not charge us for the pet fee for bringing our furry family member. My boys enjoyed the pool and breakfast. Great stay and the perfect place to wind down our summer break.

Stayed for several nights. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. Cookies were warm and tasty.

Made us and our dog feel very welcome Breakfast ended at 9:00 which was too early for us .
