Quick stay for us. Clean room and easy location right off the highway

We had a great experience with it. The TV was not working (had a connection issue), but it was quickly resolved. Really welcoming staff! The food was great. Recommend this place to anyone. Thank you.

Elevator was broke, toilet was malfunctioning. Didn't get the room we booked.

The rooms are meticulously clean and welcoming. Thoughtfully furnished with extra pillows, coffee maker, microwave, refrig - with extras like wall mounted shampoos, lotions, hairdryers, iron and board. Breakfast is extra ordinary. Staff is welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Grounds are well kept and Inn has a great location in a residential area (condos) near I 94 - but far enough away you do not hear the traffic. Near restaurants and gas. I feel safe as a single woman traveler and will continue to use whenever I need to be in Portage. Not much for kids to do - which makes for a quiet stay but tough on parents.

Room was extremely clean, smelled fresh and the staff was super nice. Room was cozy and everything easy to use. Thoroughly enjoyed my weekend as a first timer to Kalamazoo!!

The city had ecoli water system issues. Staff took care of the issues with alternative drinking water.

Elevator had been broken for a while so carry up luggage. TV in the room did not work and did not work in my other room. I had “natts “ flying all over and Ice machine was broke ecxcept for 3rd floor and couldn’t walk up all those stairs….

Our stay was very good. Nice quiet place to stay. Close to the I94.

First room assigned had not been cleaned, second room was ok but was in need of an up date. There were no cups or coffee in the room. Elevator did not work. Woman at the front desk was very pleasant. Rate was very high considering condition of this location. Would not stay there again.

Room was dirty and smelled. There was an advisory to not drink the water that the staff failed to mention when checking in. Really disappointed on the value for the price.

Outdated, not very clean. Elevator didn’t work, walls thin, and then juice/water and coffee machines not working during breakfast. Had nothing to drink. You get what you pay for I guess.

Unfortunately there seemed to be a water issue and poor staffing in this hotel. There was mold in the bathroom, as well as some poorly patched areas and caulking on the bathroom wall which looked like there was some attempt and fixing water damage. Spiders/insects on the ceiling of the sleeping area. Musty odor and damp feeling in the room. Bed & sheets were clean and comfortable, so that was ok. Elevators were broken as well, but we were on the first floor, so did not affect us.

Appreciate this place except for the one & only elevator that isn’t reliable. Today we had to carry luggage from 3rd floor to exit the building. Not good for seniors, (83 year old).

Everything else was decent. A nice area to stay in. Nice staff.

Damage on wall at front desk. Dirty carpet. Just feels icky. Pretty loud … Walls must be paper thin.
