Hampton Inn & Suites Kalamazoo - Oshtemo

This hotel was not clean, the bathroom was dirty and shower floor was disgustingly dirty, the elevator was dirty as well, the carpet has probably never been cleaned and there was stains everywhere, the breakfast area has the floors all sticky, curtains in the room had holes, the police showed up in the middle of the night to one of the rooms because apparently somebody called! Definitely wouldn’t recommend or stay at this place again! Awful experience

Quiet, clean and nice room with good breakfast options. Much better than some other options in the area. Didn’t swim but pool looked nice.

First off, there was a total remodel going on. Nothing was mentioned when I booked my rooms. Parking was minimal. The first morning we were on the third floor, had to dodge boxes and workers. Couldn’t use the elevator as the workers kept it tied up so people staying had to use the stairs! The four of us are in our 70’s. Continental breakfast was very light on any good to eat. Hallways, elevator, everything was dirty. Rooms were clean though. Construction debris was everywhere outside. Also the workers worked late and were noisy.

I paid $163 for the night and dont regret it but definitely wouldn’t pay anymore than that

Very quiet and clean

The room didn't have a refrigerator but the nice gentleman brought on to the room and I really appreciated his prompt response to our request. I'm very particular where I stay.. I recommend this Hotel.

The bed was hard as a rock

I travel a lot and I have to say this was one of the worst hotel stays that I have ever had. I don't know how Hilton allows them too carry their name. Let's start with the fact that they accepted a reservation for a room that they did not have. I brought my Mom on this trip to handle business. She is 81 and disabled. I reserved a handicap accessible room for 4 nights. Upon my arrival, they gave me a regular room. They didn't even have the decency to tell me that the room that I reserved was not available. I get to my room and upon entering I can see that it is not handicap accessible. I go back to the front desk to inquire about the room. I'm then told that the room I reserved was not available and that I could be moved the next night. I was also told that I would be given a credit for the trouble of having to move. Needless to say, that did not happen. The next day I moved myself and my Mom to the new room, on a floor that I had requested not to be housed on. This room did not have two beds, which was in my original reservation and it was falling apart. The headboard was peeling so that when you awake in the morning, there were particles on the pillow. The towels were thin and different colors. The refrigerator was missing a leg and unstable. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling and they used a thumbtack to hold it together. They put us in a wheelchair accessible room (not what I reserved), and using the shower flooded the bathroom floor. I could go on....

The tv didn’t work. Got a room n couldn’t even watch the tv. They did nothing to fix the problem or give me a discount.

Please stay away, this is by far the worst Hampton I have ever stayed at. First no refrigerator or microwave in the room. At breakfast the food tray and coffee were left unattended and empty for well over 30 minutes, while the atendant just talked at the front desk. Also this hotel is being renovated heavily which was not on their website. The hallways and rooms have strong chemical/odd odors. I would suggest sleeping in your car if this is your only option!!

The place is under construction. It would have been nice to know that before we booked

False advertising on outdoor pool and and whirlpool. Mold in bathroom. Water dmg on ceiling. Potholes in parking lot. Blood on scratched headboards.

The staff were very nice & tried to help. The room was in a construction zone; no carpet in front of our room, construction was several doors down from our room, the smell & dust was everywhere & was consequently tracked into our room, the stairwells had construction equipment blocking the way.
