Best Western Plus Kalamazoo Suites

I like how big the rooms, the staff is nice, they have a gym, pool, breakfast, freee parking, wifi: standard hotel There were bugs on the window i had to move rooms. i know the weather can effect that but its not too warm out in Kalamazoo Mi in late sept. so there shouldn't be stink bugs crawling in the curtains

The room was small.

At check in, I needed a charger plug for phones, and clerk had a wall plug I could use with the car connector cables.

We liked the kitchenette in the room and the bed was comfortable. We didn't like the noise coming from the room above us for what seemed like most of the night. The hot tub area looks like it has mold on the floor and could use a good pleasure wash, but the hot tub was hot and relaxing.

This hotel amazed me. The decor, the comfortable bed, the shower, everything was perfect. Which I really didn’t expect because it was a Best Western Plus I expected it would be only acceptable as I had stayed at others and that’s what I found. But since this had a Plus after the name I guess that meant it was a great hotel, it really was.

We were on the 4th floor, and all was quiet and clean. The bed was comfortable and the kitchenette area was useful including a sink. Breakfast was plentiful and included hot foods despite it saying continental breakfast. We were very content with our choice and would go back.

They kept the cold pool open a little later for us Hot tub was dirty, scum floating on top was an inch thick Breakfast was ok Elevator randomly stopped working, had to use stairs we where on the 3rd floor Window in room wouldn’t close

Clean room, some updates done. Chose to eat out instead of eat their breakfast. Did not use the pool. The grounds and area are nice and quiet.

Lindsay was very helpful at check-in, breakfast each day was very well done. Would book again.

Location amenities and staff Cost

The room that they put us in was disgusting. Liquid dripping from the ceiling. Toilet seat was falling off. Fudge everywhere. We found orange stain on the sheets. The manager was nice and got us another room. Other than that, I would not stay there again. Overpriced and dirty.

Large rooms, mini kitchen with large fridge and extra sink. Weighted heavy door to bathroom would automatically shut loudly. We like to keep it open while in room. Had to be propped open with a towel. Bad, watery coffee from the machine in the breakfast area.

Counter staff was no help when asked about places to eat, things to do in the area ect.

The room was ok, toilet needed fixing, the elevator sounds like screaming ghosts but o really it was ok.

Hotel was in a convenient location for the event I was attending. All common areas were clean. Breakfast was better than average with lots of choices. Room was a large and the bed comfortable. We had a king suite. The furniture was old and tired. The sofa sleeper was hard to sit on. Our room included a kitchenette and my assumption from other hotels was that there would be some basic silverware plates and bowls available. We decided to eat a meal in and found every cabinet empty. Some paper products would have been appreciated. Not what I was expecting for a Best Western Plus.
