the first room we got was still dirty, bed wasn’t made and had a horrible smell. They were very helpful with getting us a new room but even then the comforter has lots of animal hair and stains on it and when I went to get a new one they said they did not have any clean ones.

No soap in dispenser in the shower, asked to to get room made up but got told it would probably be the next day which didn’t help me a bit as I’d be checked out by then 🙄 , property is in need of some repairs and maintenance

Talked to the Hotel in person during my stay

The lady at the front was very nice. The property needs to be updated. I checked in around 9:30pm and I was gone by 3am because I saw a roach in the bathroom. The toilet handle was broken and there wasn’t a remote control in the room.

There were two baby roches on the wall.

Wow, what can I say, other than do not stay here. From the smoke cigarette smell in the lobby mixed with bad air freshener, to the room and a bed that was concave, to a faucet that was falling off of the sink, to the disgustingness in the bathroom, stay away from this place. We prepaid checked in and then after our event that we attended, we decided to cut our losses and just drive the two hours home.

The staff were nice and the room was clean, however, the mattress had huge sags in it. It was so bad, I was stunned by it. The staff knows, but their hand are tied. The mattress was so saggy that the bed could not even be made properly. I can sleep anywhere, so I managed. I was in room 154 on the corner and it would be impossible to make this mattress worse. This experience has made me decide to never go to another Red Roof. That said, the staff and receptionist were wonderful and friendly. It is a shame that such good people have to put up with a cheap owner who won't replace the mattresses. I would not be surprised if this Red Roof Inn closes down. If it is an emergency, you can stay here and feel safe. But have a sense of humor, because the mattress is a joke!

I drove 45 minutes as this was the closest room available. When I got there, there were 3 Sheriff's cars in the parking lot. It did not look like a well kept hotel and I got the feeling that several of the people standing outside watching the excitement lived in the hotel and weren't just guests for the night. I was shocked since this hotel had higher than an 8.0 rating. But I was in desperate need of a room and they were all that was available so I went to check in. At check in I was told that they were overbooked and they did not have a room available for me. I went out to my car and reached out to Hotels.com immediately and was told that the room I booked (less than 2 hours earlier) was a non-refundable room, so they would not refund my money, even though I was not given a hotel room. Because there were no other rooms available in the area I ended up sleeping in my car that night in the airport parking garage. I've used Hotels.com for years and always been very happy with the hotels I've stayed in and Hotels.com's service and convenience. This however was hands down worst experience I've had all the way around. I would be very hesitant to use them again in the future.

We liked the location and staff was very friendly.

The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and super apologetic. The issues were beyond their control and they reallt did try their best to help. We booked this hotel because friends had stayed here in the past and though it was sketchy- they said it wasnt too bad. Upon arrival there was a large crowd of drunk squatters and unattended kids running around. When I went to check in- front desk staff was wonderful and pleasant, but seemed to have trouble finding a room for me despite the booking being confirmed. It was mentioned that they were having issues with people staying and "taking rooms away from guests". I asked about the Wifi- which was an advertised amenity, and they informed me there was no working Wifi. They asked if I was okay in a room with an older AC unit. I asked if it worked as its summer and quite hot, they said "it works, its just older." It did not work. We got to the room and it was incredibly hot. There was no way to even operate the unit. They sent a repairman in within 10 minutes of us being there and there was no relief. Sheets had weird stains and the room didnt look in great shape. They offered to switch my room and the 2nd room they gave me was blocked by several intoxicated, shirtless men who were rambling and had been carrying on since we arrived. I told them we would just be canceling and goinf elsewhere. I had friends who booked for this same hotel and trip, but for later in the week- and they canceled their stay as well as they have kids and this was NOT a safe location. The owner/manager does not allow AC units to be run in between guests and it was clear there was mold build up due to this

I sent an email criminals hangingout, drug addicts hanging out, unsavory types

Hotel could use some updating.

Got there after driving 14hrs from Texas, when checked him the lady ate her shrimp first. Thenas she’s getting me checked in she goes to tell me the room SHOULD be okay but if not come back down. I go to the room and it has a weird smell, decided to go ahead and stay but went into the bathroom to find a roach and as i found that roach my fiancé finds roaches in the bed as well we took pictures and immediately grabbed out things went back and showed pictures to front desk and asked for a refund. They proceed to tell me they can’t refund me until my stay is complete which i have never heard before so i waited to get in contact with the manager two days later and she tells me she has refunded me my money but i have still yet to receive it on my debit card. Giving it a few more days. Also to add while i was trying to get my refund at the hotel there was a crazy altercation that cops had to be called out.

Very clean room. Check in was quick, gave us a different room where the air cond actually was working. One additional towel and one additional wash cloth would have been better. TV remote didn't work as it had only one battery and no battery cover.
-
Room was good and staff very friendly. The idiots talking loudly outside by my door until 2-3am making it hard to get to sleep. Rating would be at least 8 or 9 if it wasn't for that.
-
We had made reservations and when we arrived they said they didn't have any rooms.

What didn't I like? The receptionist was outstanding. Even with my having last minute accommodations. Because I have to get both of my hips totally replacedAt the age of 47 years old... Everything was the exceptional, quite , convenient, safe. And most of all my comfortaby. WELL LET ME SEE.... I WOULD SAY THAT I DIDN'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DISLIKE AT ALL.

There was no TV remote in one of our rooms and only one set of towels on each room. Both rooms smelled of cigarette smoke and we felt gross staying there.
