Best Western Plus Kansas City Sports Complex Hotel

Super convenient to walk to Kauffman Stafium. Breakfast was nice. Our couch had a few spots on it. Only one elevator ( one was out of order). Other than that, it was a comfortable room.

This hotel was great proximity to the Royals/Chiefs stadiums! Just across the street. Staff was great, clean comfy room. Breakfast was decent but would like to have had fresh fruit

Room was spacious clean but could use a little air freshener smelled a little musty. Lorraine at the bar was a hoot...we remember her from last year!! Breakfast was also fantastic very good and lots of fresh choices

The breakfast was excellent, the staff friendly. The pool ladders were too short and difficult to use to get out.

All of the staff were helpful. I had issues with my keys two days in the morning and they gave another one. Breakfast was great and the staff was great.

The elevator was broken and people were vaping and smoking pot in the hallway/rooms next to us but conveniently located to the stadiums. Their breakfast was fabulous!

Hotel was not as clean as others stated. There was only one person working at check-in with a long line and steady flow of people coming in. Stood in line for a little over 1/2 to check-in. They should plan ahead.

The room smelled terrible. The breakfast was to be open until 10am. Went down at 9:30 and it was closed.

Also, some plugs didn't work, chiped paint everywhere and strong smell of marijuana.

The room was clean except the bathtub. I am not sure if it was dirty or just extremely stained. I was only there for one night so I just cleaned it myself and did not complain. The lady at the front desk was very overwhelmed as she was there by herself while there was a large event in the event space as well as a wedding party. No way shold she have been left to do all of this alone. This made the customers have to wait forever at check in. The wait for check in was no less than 30min for each guest and that is unacceptable.

When we were checking in, the front desk lady offered us two bottles of water. After a long road trip, that was a very welcome gesture. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choices, from eggs and fruit to bagels and waffles. We will stay here again if ever in town.

Enjoyed our stay! Close to what we needed and clean, safe area. Great rates too!

Great breakfast and clean

The only good thing I can say about this property is that it is immediately across from the baseball park, which is where we needed to be. We couldn’t get our room cool the entire time we were there. They didn’t cool the hallway either which probably didn’t help with our room temperature. the floor in the breakfast area was so sticky that it felt like an old movie theater. Every time we took a shower, no matter how we positioned the shower curtain, the floor was full of water. When we checked in our smoke detector was going off in our room, but they did come promptly to fix that. All in all a very disappointing stay

The front desk staff was amazing very helpful knew their directions and places where you could go eat at a good place the breakfast was absolutely amazing everything was hot fresh good coffee
