Sheraton Kauai Resort

Clean room, beach view…… and many more beautiful things!!! I love it

We had an ocean view room and it was spectacular. Lava was typical bar. It could use some updates. Rumfire onsite restaurant was fire. Great dinner there butterfish and lamb chop combo.

The rooms were very nice and comfortable but worn out lightly. Most the staff were very friendly…the cleaning staff were all lovely. The beach and pool access were great, the restaurants were convenient but severely over priced for the quality. Overall nice stay.

Great service, clean good location. Ocean view was beautiful staff was amazing and helpful when we checked out and didn’t fly out until 10 they were very accommodating. Would love to come back.

Overall, the property is very nice and I would stay there again, but definitely pack your patience for the front desk and don't expect your room to be ready on time.

You have to pay 10 dollars per day for microwave use aside from the resort fee daily. It’s pretty expensive already then all these extra payments. The room was also basic. I guess you pay for the view and the location. The beach has wild waves good gor surfing but not much for swimming. If you have kids and want a lot of swimming without wild waves go to Royal Sonesta in Lihue or Princeville close to Hanalei Bay. This is me typing this while enjoying the calm waves and waters of the beach in front of Royal Sonesta. Overall, it was an okay stay. I will not be back.

Rooms were dialed, staff was helpful, Ocean view room worth it, food & bar downstairs on point, gym exquisite, common area kick back area with family priceless

The on-site restaurant, RumFire, was excellent. The food, drinks, service, and oceanfront atmosphere made it a great place to relax after a day of exploring the island. One of the best parts of this hotel was its central location. We were able to drive anywhere on the island in less than an hour and a half, which made it easy to experience so much of Kauai during our trip. Whether we were heading to the North Shore, Waimea Canyon, or the Na Pali Coast, everything felt accessible. The rooms were cleaned daily and always kept in excellent condition, adding to the comfort and relaxation of our stay. The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. Overall, this was a wonderful experience, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate our anniversary. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kauai.

The rooms were good and staff was friendly. The property is old and needs update. The pool was dirty, the restaurant was disappointing and the parking was a mess.

The resort is really great; the beach is amazing and the staff were wonderful. The only thing we didn't love was in order to do the resort activities, you had to sign up at 8am. The craft activities only had 10 spots for a resort full of guests; so if you weren't there earlier than 8am to line up for sign-ups, you weren't able to participate. It was disappointing to have to do that while on vacation. Otherwise, it was a fantastic play to stay!

Location was good Staff when we arrived did not offer to explain all of the services/activities the hotel offers or what one should do in the area. It was very confusing to get to the parking/room. He did not even mention that I had paid for breakfast to be included until I mentioned it and said "Ah yes....". But then he did not mention which level of breakfast I had purchased. I did not even realize until I arrived at the breakfast, and the host told me that I booked the more premium breakfast option. ??? The room smelled like mold...I was coughing and sneezing. The bathtub did not look very clean. The place was disappointing in comparison to what was reflected in the photos.

Room was misrepresented in the photo description. Photo of ocean front room on Orbitz displayed an in room sofa and double vanity in bathroom. Our oceanfront room had neither of these amenities.

AC did not work on the final night which they admitted on the last night of our stay. Staff was very nice and the resort is beautiful. I would stay there again.
