Americas Best Value Inn Kelso

The mattress was a box spring with an eggshell cover. My husband needed to sleep to work early in the morning. Nobody bothered to tell him about the train that went by every 30 minutes. He got no sleep. There was no shampoo or conditioner or anything in the bathroom thank goodness he brought his own. I’m sorry to say we will not be recommending this place ever.

The front desk staff was friendly and super helpful.

For the price it was a very good stay. The staff was very nice and the bed was comfortable enough, a little squeaky and firm. One thing I didn't take into consideration was that the train track is very close to the west side of the building, but I slept fine through the rumbling. The amenities showed some wear and tear but it was very clean and well presented. Overall fine experience and worth booking if you're on a budget.

Friendly staff. Property needs an overhaul inside and out. Room was functional and clean except for the tub. Lots of hair left behind. Air conditioner worked well and bed was comfortable. It’s a low price option and the important parts were clean so it met my needs for the night.

The lady who checked us in was the best part of the stay Old and outdated bring your own soap and everything else. No blow dryer. The toilet was clogged. The TV is old couldn’t plug the fire stick into it. Thankfully, we only booked one day.

The staff is very helpful and did their best to make up for the situation. The TV didn't work, the bed was squeeky and lumpy, the area was a little rough. It was overpriced for the condition of the property. The thing that kept us at the property was the helpfulness of the staff.

On the plus side it appeared relatively clean and I slept well.. but wife didn’t due to being uncomfortable with the surroundings.

The price was very good, the room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room needs to be updated/remodeled.

Can't beat this place for the price. The BEST staff I've ever dealt with in a motel no matter the price!! They were absolutely great!! Had a hiccup with the electronic lock when we checked in... They JUMPED on it. The winderful lady at the front desk said give me a few minutes and we'll take care of it... The manager was off shift but showed up in a few minutes to get our stuff and they had us in another room before we knew it. You can't buy that kind of customer service!!

Not one negative episode.

No outlets worked. Ac was broken. Toilet over flowed in the middle of the night. Found condom wrappers while looking for an outlet that worked. The front desk guy ( owners brother i believe) is super unprofessional. Stole my deposit, said the room smelled if smoke. ( lies ) Had to go back, & speak to someone else to get my deposit back, who then told me, she doesnt know why he kept my deposit. Im a frequent client, but after this stay I will never go back.
