Red Lion Hotel Kelso Longview

Nothing That my confirmed reservation turned out to be at a closed hotel that was being torn down behind a chain link fence.

Entire first floor smelled like drugs also The fact that it caught fire and burned to the ground

Awesome clean place… friendly people nice rooms…. The breakfast is the only reason it is not 5 star… the breakfast was very sparse no biscuits and gravy… no fruit ..the sausage patties not good…we went out to breakfast… wasn’t expecting gourmet but that was low quality

Nothing. Website is perfect looking hotel but reality is like a haunted hotel. Everything. Breakfast was also awful. I’m sorry but I don’t know how to describe in words. No hot showers.

Location Room very dirty. We have stayed at this location several times before with no issues. With the major remodel going on, it appeared that general upkeep of rooms lacked greatly.

Nothing. The room was not even clean and there was no way we could stay the night. We turned around immediately and left. It’s absolutely dreadful that there’s no way to get a refund when the property wasn’t even up to standard hygienically.

Nothing. Absolutely was not what was advertised. The whole place is under construction and a mess. Everything. Not what was advertised. Was told hot tub was operational and it was not when we arrived and when I asked for assistance I was looked at like I didn’t deserve their attention. I have attached picture, they made it seem like the hot tub was on and working but it was ice cold water. False advertising.

Almost the whole red line is under renovation. It looks like it's been that way for a long time. There was very few people staying there in the far wing away from the main area. We were scared to eat the continental breakfast in the morning. First room they tried to put us in I'm pretty sure there was squatters in there because it was locked from the inside with the little lever that goes against the door so nobody can get in. The next room they put us in the heater was not on so it was cold we had to wait for it to heat up. Toilet wouldn't quit running all night. Finally hot it to quit running but the toilet wouldn't flush even opening the back up and trying by hand. Had to use the garbage can in the bathroom and fill it up with the showerhead because the Spicket in the shower wouldn't work either. Use the bucket to flush the toilet. After turning on the shower to flush the toilet. The whole bathroom filled with an inch of water on the floor. We decided we were not eating there because we were scared we were going to get food poisoning and we were not showering and we left. If we would've known it was like that we would've never stayed there. After a tournament we went and checked in and we're meeting people for dinner and so had no other options but to just go with it. Probably should've just drove home. I definitely do not recommend this place to anybody. It was so ran down. Pretty ghetto. And I'm not a really picky person

You can’t slap lipstick on a pig and make it look pretty. As soon as you walk in the hotel the Lobby smells old and musty and looks run down. Don’t fall for the photos of the few renovated rooms they do have. They are doing a renovation and we were put in one of the renovated rooms and you could see a brown seem at the top of the wallpaper were it meets the ceiling from them just slapping up some wallpaper on the walls to try and make it look nice. You could tell it was just done Beacuse they had a horrible glue smell in the room. It looks like a landlord special house flip. We checked in then immediately checked out due to the smell and seeing spiders all over the room realizing this hotel was not a nice clean place you would not want to sleep. And they would not issue a refund.

Blood on sheets, mold on ceiling

Not maintained, rooms very far from the lobby, no amenities in the room, no phone in the room, very noise from all the slamming doors and construction. Otherwise it was ok.

The room was subpar compared to previous visits. The front desk was amazing.

Checked in at midnight and waited 20 minutes for someone to appear to check us in. No hot water in room. Continental breakfast offerings ran out without being restocked/refilled

The carpet wasn't thoroughly vacuumed.

Unable to Participate in breakfast as it did not open till 7 am and for anyone heading to business appt. not possible to get the service. Thank goodness McDonald available down the road for coffee. The condition of the bathroom and room is in need of major renovation. The overall condition of room in desperate upgrade as carpet needs cleaning and very filthy with spots everywhere and room at best in poor condition. In room two days with no clean towels for day 2 for emptying of trash bins or toiletries available..

Not much The shower was broke, the toilet ran all might, the furniture in the room look dirty & your website still shows they have a restaurant which they have not had for 2 years.

I didn’t like anything and refused to stay there. I would have slept in my car over staying here. It was so disgusting and dirty that I couldn’t even stay there. I should have looked at the Yelp reviews. They wouldn’t refund me but even with that, there was NO way.
