The Beach House Inn

Such a beautiful stay at The Beach House Inn; the staff was wonderful and helpful! There are endless things to do in the Kennebunkport area, and The Beach House Inn provides a wonderful experience to accommodate your stay. Bikes to take into town, endless nearby beaches, and a thoughtful coffee and tea station were some of our favorite details!

Wonderful property in a nice location. The staff is very warm, helpful and friendly. Loved the bikes and beach chairs! First time in Kennebunk or Kennebunkport and we enjoyed exploring more than the beaches. For our room rate, the room could have been better maintained - some carpet stains and grout needed replacing in the tub.

The location close to the beach was excellent. Parking was available and was very handy and close to the beach. The staff was excellent. Coffee was available 24 hours, which was great. The air conditioner worked fine.The only potential downsides are: the room had a queen size bed, and bathroom with tub shower, but was rather small. Despite these downsides, we loved staying so conveniently close to the beach and to our nearby relatives. We would definitely rent again.

Very well kept and great location. A shame they no longer offer breakfast as there is nothing nearby. They provided a crib for our baby which was great. Would happily stay again

This hotel is a little gem! The property is across from the water where you can easily walk to the beach, run, bike, or walk along the coastline. It is in a quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. The property is beautifully kept- it is clean, the staff is super friendly, and the store is stocked with souvenirs. They offer free coffee and tea 24/7. You can sit outside and enjoy the ocean view or in the lobby on comfortable couches and chairs. The room was exactly as described and a perfect size for a couple's weekend getaway. The property has a free parking lot on site. I would definitely recommend and cannot wait to return!

Once we arrived and checked out the property we inquired about adding on an additional nights stay. The front desk worked there magic and we ended up staying an additional evening Kennebunkport is truly a magical raft coast Summer town destination, a must see stop along an easy coast road trip. Good for the soul, fresh salt air and sea views, along with plenty of lobster and seafood

The location was great. The room was very nice. The bathroom was very nice. Everything was clean. The air conditioner was very loud. It woke me up numerous times over the weekend. I am a very heavy sleeper. Also, I found the bed to be too hard. My husband liked it, but I was not a fan.

Great location. The only issue was the lowest level (basement) where our room 105 was located was too damp. Unacceptable. Sheets and clothes felt wet 🙁

Room was lovely. Enjoyed sitting in the living room to read & puzzle. Loved the proximity to the beach and sitting on the porch or in the rocking chairs in front of the ocean. It was an amazing stay.

Free use of their beach cruisers tho, so we could ride into town for breakfast 😂

Excellent stay!

We were in Room 313. The threadbare carpet had holes and stains all over the room. The chair had a huge 12in x 12in stain on the seat. The door didn't close properly and had a huge gap away from the doorframe at the top and the bottom. Furniture was very rough and beat up. The entire room needs to be overhauled. I assume the exceptional rating is due to the property being right across from the beach, but the actual room was awful. The common areas seemed clean and in better shape. Stay at your own risk.

The Property was excellent the room was clean, parking was great Staff was phenomenal especially John who was polite and responsive and extremely friendly and Helpful

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. I loved the front porch, sitting outside and enjoying the view was my favorite part. I do wish the porch was accessible by wheelchair so my entire family could enjoy the view.
