Wanderer Cottages

Staff was super friendly. Beach bikes and chairs were huge for us! Kenne is a completely different experience when riding bikes everywhere. Yard / landscape could have been upkept better. Getting overgrown with weeds / grass.

Everything was top notch. Incredible amenities. Breakfast included many options. Iced coffee was a treat! Providing sunscreen at the pool was fabulous!

The only thing that was confusing was the pricing. I looked at the pricing on the actual website and it was 100% more than the price that I actually payed on booking.com. So if I booked it at their website, I would be paying twice the price. I would never do that. And it seems a little murky there. It's a lovely place. Everything is very well put together and clean. The staff is great. I would highly recommend it, but I would never pay $500 a night for this. That's a little much especially when I just did a search and I could stay at the Colony Hotel down the road a ways with a huge pool and hotel facilities, etc for less. But I really love the wanderer and would recommend it, but it is not a five to $600 night hotel.

I loved everything about the property. I felt like we were staying with family. The property manager and staff could not have been friendlier. They were attentive to our needs. Everything we needed was available. The rooms, although small, were adorably decorated, cozy and comfortable.The property is warm and inviting. It is very close to Kennebunkport and close to Ogunquit and Portsmouth. It is a perfect getaway stay. So charming! Can’t wait to go back! In all honesty…not much. If I have to say, the AC unit is on a timer. I like my room very cold. AC units should be able to be adjusted.

The staff was extremely helpful and attentive

So many amenities! The heated salt water pool was absolutely amazing! Used the sauna as well. Made some s’mores with provided s’mores kits. Played corn hole. Everything was well organized and ready to be used. Nothing comes to mind, it was amazing!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The cottages were charming and quaint. The whole atmosphere was relaxing.

The staff Aleshia (sp?) was amazing! The extra amenities were a touch that set these cottages apart. The Smores, snacks in the room, soft drinks, breakfast pastries, all made our stay so special. Everything was truly wonderful, we even stayed an extra night bs we loved it so much!

Stand alone cabin with private entrance The snacks provided were mealy, stale and inedible. There was no fire extinguisher on the premises as in case of emergency a fire should occur. I informed the staff and they seemed to think it wasn’t necessary.

This place is absolutely amazing. Everything here went well beyond our expectations. Amazing staff, Absolutely immaculate, Manager was a delight to deal with. This is an absolutely a 5 Star resort. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property.

Well appointed, stylish, updated coastal cabins. Nice touches throughout. Welcome gifts, nice pool, and relatively quiet location. Staff were excellent, recommended local spots, etc. Fantastic value in off season. Would definitely come back.

Lindsey was incredible. She was friendly open outgoing. She was the first person we met and started off our vacation beautifully.. she was a true asset. The design was impressive. All the details from the welcome basket, to the Lighting, bedding., Landscape was amazing. I renovate Properties for a Living. Your website was what stood out before booking, Design was so well thought out attractive, thiis is what First brought me in and of course, keeping the price and something reasonable for the size was what sealed the vacation booking. The cottages are so well done, very comfortable and well laid out and decorated. Check in was easy and we were very close to downtown. Cabins are uninsulated. While there was a heating unit, it worked all night, cycling on and off and was very loud, making it difficult to sleep, while still being freezing in the cabin. The floors were freezing when you got out of bed and the water never heated up to be hot for the shower, possibly because of how cold out it was.
