    Clean room

  • Engine customer Sep 2026

We stayed at the Sagamore in Miami Beach and Cheeca Lodge on Islamodora and they were a lot better! Staff never opened doors or helped with luggage…we did ourselves. The rooms need some upkeep..,, the room only one garbage and the toilet ran continuously through the night, and there was no balcony and for what we paid it was not great. We looked out the street at a shack and when we went out in the ocean by our room, it was full of grass and stunk really bad and the bikes weren’t even free. You had to rent them compared to other hotels where we got credit to rent bikes. Hilton, you let me down on my friends 50th bday after being a member for years.

The staff was very helpful, but rooms were not stocked and cleaned regularly. Lots of noise issues. Had to be moved after one night and the next room had a whole different set of problems.

Unfortunately the ocean was contaminated so we were told not to enter. Also unfortunately the 2 pools were about 90 degrees so not refreshing at all. The included breakfast buffet was pretty good. All indoor facilities including the room were air conditioned very well. Which was a real relief since the temperature and humidity were ungodly.

The property was nice l, but our room did not get cleaned until 5:00 nightly. The food at the restaurants was not good and way overpriced.

It didn’t help that I was charged a security deposit of six hundred dollars ,twice, for the the duration of my stay.

Everything was great except the beds they were pretty uncomfortable. Expected better for a resort.

La propiedad está buena, el aire acondicionado de la habitación hacia demasiado ruido , el servicio de la piscina muy malo y de muy mala calidad, la playa muy mala por el sargazo . El hotel es viejo pero está bien cuidado.

Hotel is mainly nice and staff friendly, however, they charge $63/day for a "resort" fee yet there is nothing other than a pool and beach umbrella and chairs included in that price... big ripoff. All the water sports cost extra. Property is undergoing renovation so some areas closed and noisy during day. Beach had lots of seaweed which they did clean up on 3rd day. Pool cabannas cost over $300/day. Parking is $50/day.

This place is beautiful and well maintained. Our room had a window that you could see the ocean. Staff was helpful and friendly. The beach was nice but during August the seagrass made it unusable. Only one pool was open due to construction (which we were not notified of) and it was packed. Only flaw for us was the food and drink prices ($11 draft beer or $24 margaritas). But we made the best of it and eat / drank downtown. The spa was amazing.

Be aware that roosters, pigeons, and lizards frequently appear around the open-air areas, including near the lobby. It adds to the Key West experience, but some guests may want to know beforehand. My biggest concern was the incidental authorization process. I noticed an issue very early in our vacation and immediately reported it to the staff. They acknowledged that something had been processed incorrectly but were unable to resolve it at the time. Some authorizations also remained pending well after checkout, which was frustrating. Guests should understand the property's incidental policy and monitor their accounts after their stay. Overall, the resort is beautiful and breakfast is excellent, but the administrative issues negatively affected our experience. If visiting Key West again, I would probably choose a vacation rental with a golf cart included and prepare more of my own meals.

My favorite hotel in Key West. Beautiful beach and great staff.

Beds were fantastic and comfortable with great pillows. Nice 70" TV's Requested a microwave and they had it there in minutes. What they call a refrigerator is a simply a cooling box. So, I requested a small fridge and the nice assistant had it there in 3 minutes. Daily maid service was soooo very nice. Very clean when we would get back to the room. Towels were very nice as was the shower with all the shampoo, conditioner and body wash supplied. Another great feature was the lotion by the bathroom sink. Helped a lot when I got sun burned. Very quiet, never heard any other guest or any sounds. Black out curtains were a big plus as well. Pool was clean and nice. Beach had brown water which was disappointing but that is not the fault of the hotel. Just that time of year for seaweed etc. Self-Parking was pricy at $45 per night. That would be my only complaint. Great value for the price. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend them to others. Billy b

Some of the house keepers didn’t speak English which was occasionally a problem for us and other guests. Also, it would be nice if they had drinks and snacks available 24 hours because the marketplace closes too early and low a bit lacking. Once the marketplace closes closes you’re stuck with the bar or restaurant but who wants to order a pizza when all you want us some popcorn? Besides that, the place is beautiful and very well maintained. We had an enjoyable experience.

Very nice location. secluded from the busy Duvall st but close enough for a nice stroll to the restaurants and bars. NOT much of a beach. Seaweed all around the beach and water. Pool and bar were great.
