We arrived at Key West about 6 hours before check-in time. I called the hotel and they were kind to let us check-in earlier (with a small fee) we was highly appreciated. We got to enjoy the cool pool and the best cocktails at the bar. The property is very well located , pretty nice looking, rooms are spacious and comfortable. The employees are friendly and very helpful. I will definitely return

Faithful place and the best location in Key West.

Staff is friendly, attentive and helpful. Continental Breakfast is fresh and the perfect start for a day of adventure. We were there for a destination wedding at the Hemingway House that is right across the street. Location could not have been any better.

Friendly staff, the best location, close enough to everything but quite so you can chill. Great bar with fun bartenders. Next time I come to KW I hope I stay here. 11 out of 10!! Everything, can't wait to come back

The AC unit barely worked, the floors were dirty, and we even found stains on the bedding, which is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. The pool was very small and dirty, and parking was far away and extremely inconvenient. What makes this even more disappointing is that our friends had recommended this hotel, so we expected much better service and cleanliness. Overall, the hotel felt dirty, poorly maintained, and not worth the money. Very disappointing experience and definitely not a place we would return to. We stayed at this hotel from July 22–25, and unfortunately it was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. Our room was never cleaned at all during the entire stay. We informed the front desk early in the morning that housekeeping never came, but no one ever showed up to clean the room. After calling again and explaining that this completely ruined our vacation, the only thing they offered was a refund for one night and parking. Easy check in, nice grounds, dog friendly, relaxing pool. Had an issue arise in our room and staff was prompt to respond and solve our issues. Bartender in Isabel’s by the pool is awesome! So sweet and helpful. Will stay again.

Great service and clean space

Great location. Friendly staff, especially the bartenders (shout out to Alejandro and Jefferson!). Lovely grounds and pool area. Loud a/c unit in the room.

However, the pillows and duvet are filled with down feathers. This is something good to note if you are like me, and have an allergy to down feathers. The front desk attendant was able to find me a replacement pillow and that was much appreciated but I still had issues because of the duvet. The biggest issue though was the A/C unit in the room. After waking up from my first night I woke up with a migraine (I do get them frequently) and I was having problems breathing. I also had a scratchy throat and coughing. That is when I realized the A/C unit was full of mold that went further into the unit than I could clean myself. There were spores of mold on the exterior that were easy to clean. So as beautiful as this property is, I likely would not stay here again because of the migraine and breathing problems I was faced with during my two night stay. This was not an inexpensive property to stay at and I would have expected better than to have breathing issues. My suggestion to anyone considering this property would be to only consider it if you do not suffer from mold or down feather allergies. My friend that was in the room with me does not have issues with either and she slept great.

Loved the place. Alejandro was amazing. He was there breakfast through HH. Always had great advice for any places to go. Unfortunately there was no internet, including TV for our stay. Overall, very clean and a super solid breakfast. Would definitely recommend it.

Let’s start with how amazing everyone was at this little paradise in paradise! I have never felt more welcomed walking into a “hotel.” The lush landscaping made this place feel like I was Jane just waiting to be scooped up by some tropical Tarzan at any moment. The room… more like the HOME we stayed in! Vaulted ceilings taller than the high horse I get on when I know im right, the air colder than Antarctica in the summer, and all the little things in between made it feel like I was living above my means.

This was our third visit to the property. It’s a very well kept property, along with a lot of charm. Its location is perfect for walking about. There’s almost no on-site parking, but we were able to secure a parking space about two blocks away, so no serious complaint since we expected to do a lot of walking. Good morning continental breakfast is always pleasant, with a nice variety of healthy food. The gentleman manning the front desk provided excellent service.

liked the history and location. Lack of storage space in the room.

We loved the location. We could walk to everything we wanted to go to. Hotel is very quiet, so no noises when we went to bed. Friendly staff. Breakfast was great and drinks were great. Love the Roosters!

Location was quiet. Lighthouse was nostalgic. Key West is an adventure. Plan to walk or Uber to watch the sunsets.

Comfortable. Well maintained and appointed. Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean and provided everything we needed. Pool was clean but perhaps a little too warm. Checking in was an issue. Requested early check-in but rooms weren’t ready so we waited. We were never told they were ready. Finally a half hour after normal check-in we went to the office and found they had been ready for awhile. I’d chalk it up to a failure to communicate during shift change. Other than that from the manager, to the front office, to the bartender, to the cleaning staff, to the maintenance man everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

The location was FANTASTIC. Everything we wanted to see or visit was within walking distance. The room size was perfect for 2. If anyone ever asks me where to stay while visiting KW, I will HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Lighthouse Hotel.

Location, pool, breakfast Room size for "king room" type are all different, our 1st room was very small, moved to larger room which was better, had to move after 3 nights due to bugs in bathroom, bed, etc. 3rd room was smaller than 1st with no closet, no ceiling fan, and workers above in the am with hammers and drills going.
