Silver Palms Inn & Historic Homes

Great location, friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast offered is a nice touch with freshley made omelettes. We stayed in the pension in a very large king room which was comfortable and clean. Ample parking at a fair rate which is limited in Key West. The pool in the pension is considerably warmer than most outdoor pools so it didnt offer that refreshing dip to cool down. We therefore used the pool in the main building which was much cooler.

Room was very nice and clean. Staff was very friendly. I was very happy that we could park on the premises without an extra fee. Beds were very comfortable and room was spacious. I was upgraded to a pool view. While it technically was a pool view, it was more of a parking lot view. The pool was very pretty, it was just crowded.

Property was clean, staff was constantly cleaning something, staff was very friendly. Great location, in walking distance to most everything. Breakfast got a little busy. There was not enough space for everybody at the buffet. Omelettes were very good but a long waiting line. Wish they would have provided waffles.

The location is perfectly situated a couple blocks off Duval and within a charming historical district. We stayed at the historical bldg. across the street, a sister property called La Pensione, with it's own small pool. 1st floor room with it's own private entrance from outside was spacious/clean and had some personality so we liked it more than the traditional motel style. It was nice to just walk across the street to access the larger Silver Palms property for breakfast, bigger pool and bike rentals. Breakfast here is nothing special and the bikes were fairly beat-up (only $20 for the day though!) but for the very reasonable cost to stay here & location it can't be beat!

We were early for our check-in, but the staff gave us towels & allowed us to use the pool while we waited. The room was clean & comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic, the egg station a great surprise.

We chose Silver Palms for its location which was perfect for walking to everywhere in the Old Town. But every aspect of our stay could not be faulted

The staff upon arrival were extremely friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the service the following day was much more mediocre. When I accidentally left my key in the room, getting assistance to access the room felt unnecessarily difficult and the staff were not particularly helpful. Overall, a noticeable difference in the level of service from one day to the next.

The property was very clean and easy to access. The staff were very friendly. Pool towels were available at the front desk. Each morning there were fresh omelets, as well as a spread of bagels, cereal and fruit. Pool is on the smaller side, but still perfect for some pool activity and tanning. The mini-fridge wasn’t very cool, was unable to store food in room.

Hotel was very nice and clean. Staff friendly. Had a good size parking lot with covered parking available as well which is a luxury in Key West! We had a great stay and would stay again.
