Winslow's Bungalows - Key West Historic Inns

The bedding had blood stains, makeup, other stains. We looked in a closet to find different bedding and found mouse droppings. We looked further and found mouse droppings in our room as well. There were old chopsticks and old fork, etc. other garbage in the room. The pools were much much smaller than what shows on the website. The whole place just seemed kind of dirty or not well kept. We were moved to a different room and the air-conditioning was so loud we couldn’t even barely hear the TV. We canceled our second night and they didn’t refund half. They are saying the second night room rate was a lower rate. This was for Friday and Saturday. I don’t know how Friday night had that much higher of a rate than Saturday night. Do not stay here in general. I don’t think old town is the place to stay. It seemed like near the harbor or near the southernmost point was nicer.

The property offered striking beauty and an ideal location. The staff we spoke with throughout our stay were consistently friendly and welcoming. I appreciated the amenities. The complimentary continental breakfast and two welcome drinks were excellent. I would gladly return for another visit.

Good location, walking distance to most of the Old Town. Good breakfast. Lots of outdoor furniture for lounging under tropical trees. Most rooms have covered decks with outdoor furniture so you can still be outdoors if you're waiting out a rainstorm. My bathroom floor needed mopping before I got there.

From before we arrived we already knew we chose the right place to stay! We had questions about parking our motorcycle on property and there was no hesitation to share information and also connect with us. The staff is great. We are recommending this location and properties to friends and family. Next time we’re in town, 100% this will be the place we stay. Location is great and the property is fun to explore. Thank you all for making our stay memorable!

Loved this place cute and cozy

This property was the perfect spot for seeing all of Key West. We had a brief problem with our door and the team was so responsive and apologetic and offered things to make it right. Have already recommended to friends and family in the 24hrs of being home.

The property is on a perfect location near enough from Duval action, but at the same time far enough to enjoy a quiet time when necessary. Excellent parking lot onsite if you’re driving! The very friendly and helpful staff, made our staying even better!

The room was clean and decorated for the keys. Breakfast was amazing. Take advantage of that. The location is great for getting to so many hotspots.

Super cute and comfortable stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here! The grounds are beautiful. The staff was great. The rooms are very clean and housekeeping did a great job each day. I loved the robes that were provided! The buildings are old, yes. And the floor in our room was uneven. Not desirable but not a deal breaker. Bar and bar staff was great. Breakfast was great for a continental. Plenty of options and fresh cut fruit every day. We’d definitely return!

We had a nice stay overall. The breakfast was wonderful. The pools were amazing. The property was beautiful and you could see that the staff realt tried hard to make it nice. The staff was very helpful with any issues. We would stay here again. A few things were misnleading such as the water at the bedside looks complimentary until you open it and realize it’s 5 dollars. We had to request our room to be cleaned a few days which should be an automatic since we paid an extra 45 dollars a day for this service. Overall great stay.

Expedia did not mention when I signed up that there would be a $45 per day resort fee. I will not book through Expedia again.
