Best Western Plus Kingsland

Over all good experience room was extremely cold when I checked in. The was a slight musty smell but not bad

I had to spend 2 hours cleaning the pool before using it while 3 people management did not offer to help

The staff is great, very friendly and always willing to help. Great breakfast every morning, with a very good breakfast attendant. We repeatedly stay here as it is the best in Kingsland!

The hotel is quite old, furniture, carpeting, bathroom, but the worst is the smell of disinfection, the room smells like it was disinfected from roaches right before you enter.

This motel was very nice, staff was very friendly, room was clean, beds were alittle smaller than expected. The breakfast was great, but area was small to sit. The air conditioner was old and had a funky smell. But very satisfied with the price we paid.

Best Western Plus Kingsland was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. I ended up having to switch rooms twice due to severe quality, moisture, and mold issues. The first night I slept there without realizing the full severity at first. By morning, my clothes inside my bag were damp from the wet carpet, and I had spent the entire night breathing in moisture and mold. The second room was even worse, with soft, water-damaged walls, wet carpets, and visible mold on the bathroom and bedroom walls. I was finally moved to a third room upstairs that had no issues. When I brought up these unsafe conditions, the front desk worker claimed humidity settling low is a "down South problem." I live in Florida; this isn't geography, it's a quality issue. She literally stated that the rooms aren’t her problem, however, customers are her problem though. Major Health & Safety Risk: As an immunocompromised person actively on a kidney transplant waiting list, exposure to active mold is a severe medical hazard. By the day after checking out, I couldn't breathe properly. I’ve since needed a chest X-ray and am on antibiotics under medical supervision. Neither hotel management nor Expedia has made any effort to make this right. Expedia refuses to help with my refund because an affiliate on their site took the payment. Management needs to step up and take accountability immediately. Consider this a serious warning to stay far away.

The Stay was very pleasant

The room was spacious and the bed/pillows were so comfy!! The staff were super. Our breakfast was not great. The eggs were tiny, flat discs that were too tough to cut with your fork and the sausage links didn’t look done. The waffles we made were tasty.

It was a great time. I love this particular hotel in Kingsland for their attention to detail. I was there for a weekend and it was so peaceful.

Great location. Great room. Bed was great. Room was clean. Staff was excellent. Local resteraunts were awesome, in peticular ship 2 shore, excellent food. Breakfast was amazing. Thank you. Room was damp in morning with a bit of a musty smell, but it was minimal.

Everything the value and the establishment were both very accommodating. Not the type of place you would expect to get for the price I payed. Absolutely amazing. Clean! Didn't stink like animals! That in itself was wonderful. Property was well kept and the staff super friendly. Booked at last minute we were in town for my son's travel tournament all the airbnb's were taken due to 4th of July along with the normal hotels I stay in for travel for business. So I took a chance. It was worth it. I am not sure if all of the Best Western Plus are like this one but I never would have dreamed it would have been so nice. The pool needed to be shocked after all the rain and such. It was a little cloudy but that was the only down side of the whole stay. I actually extended our stay I liked it so much.

The front desk lady was overwhelmed between tending for the phones and check in We had to wait quite a bit of time. Room was comfortable; Bathroom was dirty. Our favorite was the Breakfast buffet included quite a bit of options.
