Best Western Plus Kingsland

The breakfast was great and the rooms were clean

The front desk lady was overwhelmed between tending for the phones and check in We had to wait quite a bit of time. Room was comfortable; Bathroom was dirty. Our favorite was the Breakfast buffet included quite a bit of options.

We stayed there Memorial Day weekend. We enjoyed our stay very much. Staff was very kind, especially an older man, I think he was with maintenance. Held the door for us and helped us with our bags without us even having to ask. The rooms do have a certain smell to them which we were not a fan of but other than that everything else was fine. They also have free homemade chocolate chip cookies! Overall, the location is great. They have numerous restaurants and stores nearby which made it so much easier to get around.

The entire hotel staff were very nice, friendly and helpful with guest need/s. And the free breakfast and evening cookies was delicious!! I would definitely stay again.

Really enjoyed our visit

The room on the other had had an odor, wet damp smell. Maybe if the carpets was cleaned it could help. This is my 2nd time staying. The first two night, this time three nights.

Dirty, worn furniture in room (I would not sit in such a old dirty chair). Broken vanity cabinet. Signs of repaint over dirty, rusty bathroom area. Hand towel holder next to vanity fell off ( barely attached to wall). Filthy stained carpeting (giant mystery stain between beds). Funky smell. Standard hotel breakfast fare. Staff was helpful and courteous when smoke detector went off for no reason, twice. Front desk at check-in could not tell me what rate difference there was, if any, between walk-in and reserving via Expedia. I don't understand how this location can be called 'Best Western "Plus"'. Overall, a generous OK.

Very nice. We stayed only one night as a travel through so couldn't enjoy the pool. Lady in the morning breakfast was very pleasant and helpful. We were happy that there was a frig and microwave

Clean and comfortable

Stayed in handicap room. Shower was dangerous. Water overflowed.

Location

Good location. The staff, especially Trisha, were very good. The hotel is overpriced, dumpy and run down. There were 2 chairs in the room with worn out upholstery. The arms of a swivel desk chair also showed signs of heavy wear and tear. The worn out carpet had foot traffic stains throughout the room. When I sat on the mattress, it felt damp due to humidity. Will never use Booking.com again because of their misleading reviews of this hotel. Will never stay at a Best Western hotel again!

The staff at the hotel were incredibly warm and helpful, and the lobby was just gorgeous! We loved the breakfast, and our room was clean and well appointed.

Both great It was all good

The shower was clean and very easy to use. The water was hot. Nice! It was behind several other businesses and a little difficult to find.

Older motel but ok for one night

One of our best experiences at a hotel in quite sometime. Friendly and helpful staff.

The staff members were remarkably kind, friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms clean. The breakfasts were very good. The only suggestion would be to vary the menu a bit more for those who stay more than a couple of nights.

The staff stood out as everyone from the front desk to the housekeepers and the breakfast lady went out of their way to greet and ask about any concerns. The room amenities were a little disappointing, but the overall experience distanced that. I think you will pay much less than a full service hotel with their upgraded amenities, but the price difference equals or exceeds the slightly different amenities provided by a much more expensive hotel.
