Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Kingsland

This property is in dire need of refurbishment. Lobby was wonderful but we felt like a different hotel when we entered the room. Stains on the carpet, dirt in the corners, hair. This was definitely not a Fairfield quality hotel.

As soon as we entered the lobby, we knew we had made a mistake! The overpowering odor of mold and mildew assaulted us as we approached the desk to check in. We were so tired we figured maybe our room would be OK. That couldn’t be further from the truth! The carpeting in the hallway smelled horrible and looked dirty and stained. When we opened the door to our room, we were again greeted with an overpowering smell of mold or mildew. My daughter tried to run a bath, but the tub was filthy and no hot water was available! We immediately called the front desk, but she was no help at all. We could see this was futile, and we left and stated a Holiday Inn express down the road. We asked for a refund, but were refused. Dirty property, nasty bathroom, incompetent desk clerk, and totally uninterested management who are not even available for four days to decline our refund request! This property was uninhabitable and should be condemned by the Board of health!

Clean property, friendly staff, and amazing breakfast. Would definitely stay here again!

Do not stay here! The room was dirty, the bathroom filthy, smelled like smoke. The hallways smelled like trash and they didn’t have toilet paper, even after we asked. Please do not stay here!

The only downfall was there was only one trash can in the entire room.

Stay here every year on my drive north. Reliable.

The property is old and tired. The flooring was stained, and food bits were still on the floor from the last guest. Bathroom floor tiles were broken and coming up.

Clean room, good breakfast

Staff was very accommodating! Highlight was that hot coffee was ready when we left at 4am! In all of our years traveling, I think that is the first time that has happened! Thank you! Stains on carpet

The hotel was just ok for a 1 night stay while traveling. BUT the abandoned decrepit hotel next door made us feel very uneasy, basically a homeless camp

Disappointed in the cleanliness and upkeep of the room. Definitely not up-to-date. There was only one coffee condiment pack in the room and the sugar packs had tape around them. Breakfast was minimal.

There was a wonderful pregnant cockroach in our room. We spoke to the front desk and they did not care.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfy room. Convenient location off the highway.

It was nice, cozy and clean check-in was nice quick easy staff is great The breakfast was amazing.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. From check in to check out everyone was pleasant!! It was a nice rest on our last leg to home.
