Budget inn

Our room/bathroom was clean. Bed/pillows were comfortable, Manager was pleasant and helpful.

Outdated room (8x10) from the 1950s. No towel bars.

The room was okay but bathroom was very small, not enough light in the room, not enough electrical outlets.

While the furniture may be a little dated, the room and bath area were spotless and clean. All the appliances and TV worked just great.

Excellent service and decent budget room

TO BE CLEAR, I wouldn't rate the room itself as "terrible;" I would rate it as "poor." I gave it the rating I did to try and lower the overall average to something more accurate. Perhaps it was my fault for not thinking "very good" could include thin, worn out sheets with small stains and a few hairs (dog, I believe). Maybe rust on metal parts, and a cigarette hole in the bedspread still qualifies for "very good."...but maybe that's just me.

We come for home football games and stay here every time. The owners are great and the rooms, while outdated, are clean, the beds are comfortable and we have everything we need.

The Budget Inn is a small property and we stay every time we are in Kingsville. The rooms are dated but very clean, very comfortable and we feel safe there. The staff are always friendly. We recommend this place to our family and friends who come down for football games. It’s just a few minutes drive to the stadium and TAMUK campus.

The staff is very kind and accommodating. This is an older property so the rooms show wear and tear, but the beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean and we had a good nights sleep. We will be booking this whenever we head to Kingsville.

Good job

I have never in my life stayed in a hotel like this. We did not pay much for the room but the ratings were high and so I thought we would try it...just to spend the night coming from Mexico. Our hotels in Mexico were much better than this. There was a fridge with two beers inside. very very old room. Bed was pretty comfortable. Had it not been late at night when we checked in we would have gone somewhere else. Most everything. Scary surroundings

Close to the highway. Staff was very polite. The furniture is a bit dated. No clear wifi instructions, had to call the office. The mattress was quite soft/saggy. A/C wasn't turned on before I arrived, so it took a couple of hours once I got there for the room to be comfortable .
