Economy Inn Kingsville

Very clean, Very nice and courteous staff. Spacious rooms.

There is a small refrigerator. The door jam was broken. The AC didn't cool well. The blinds were extremely dirty. But mostly that the staff threw away a customized medical hand brace that my husband accidentally left. Who does that?

It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable the only sad part is that the place is outdated ,but good places to stay for a Good night's sleep.

Great service at an affordable price The room layout

Right in the middle of town. So many things were broken: the entrance light, the shower head(it actually fell on my head), both shower and sink faucets opened the wrong way, gap in the door where a bunch of cold air came in, no soap tray or shower caddy in the shower (we had to use a trash can and the ice bucket to put our soap on). Too many things were subpar.

The owner was very nice, and helpful! Something rare in today's hospitality business. I recommend this property for his customer pleasantries alone. Rooms were clean! Perfect for contractors on the road. Kitchen perfect size. Full size fridge, stove/oven. Furniture a bit dated.

We went to Kingsville for the first time to attend a funeral. We looked for a motel with high marks and cheap rent. When we arrived, we were really put off with the appearance of the exterior of the motel and considered turning around to leave but the motel had very positive reviews. The motel looked like it was abandoned-the parking lot was empty and there was an old discarded toilet outside of the room two doors down. The gentleman in the office was very nice. He provided information about the area and recommended some nearby restaurants. Still hesitant approaching the door, when we walked through it, it was like landing in Oz! The room was very spacious and VERY clean. It was an older motel but it was freshly painted. The decor was tasteful and It had a desk, dining table with real chairs, a microwave and a half-size refrigerator/freezer that worked great! The location was perfect-I had easy access to all highways and many restaurants. For all of the comforts and GREAT price, I would consider it again just for a great peaceful getaway! Thank you! Number one negative is no guests are allowed-PERIOD. It would be a big reason for me to go elsewhere. Aside from the exterior of the motel, my only other complaints would be in the bathroom. We loved the shower but the step is too tall to not have safety bars to grasp. One may be helpful in the commode area as well since the room is so narrow.

The price for the room That when I had to check out 2 days early was not refunded due to lack of policy communication on the property manager end..

Friendly It was very hot during the day like if there was no insulation I didn’t like that the washer and dryer were dirty and outside in the heat.

I liked that the front door had a bolt lock. I like that the staff restocked and cleaned our room for us when we were away. I liked that the room was able to stay cold throughout the night. I didn't like that the floor of the shower was very slippery. I didn't like that the bathroom door didn't close or even lock properly.

It was definitely economic

I had made a mistake in my booking date and the staff person was very helpful in supporting me to cancel the original booking and to rebook it for that same day. The rooms are old and worn but the hotel is under new management so I think they will make some upgrades. The door did not lock so well.

Price for 1 night. Chose this motel because of the high rating it showed, 8.6. It was no where near that rating. Renovation was taking place but much more was needed. A/C. heater didn't work properly.

I paid for a room online and it never went through until the last minute when I no longer needed it. I would like to get a refund for this.
