Holiday Inn Resort Kissimmee by the Parks by IHG

The staff were great — Edgar and Lisseth the bar tenders had great vibes and made delicious mojitos!! They were super accommodating and made you feel at home. Pool area was open til 11pm ! Hotel is in a nice quiet area, you can see even walk to gift shops. Epcot and magic kingdom are less than 10 minutes away. Ubers cost $15 max. But keep your eye out for Robert, a friendly bald man in the lobby area, he has his own taxi service. there’s a super The hot breakfast and fresh fruit were super convenient! Especially the staff checking you in for breakfast, those women were the sweetest. Great trip overall

There wasnt much water pressure in the shower and there was not way to control the climate in the room.

The hallway was humid, hot and smelled like pee. The only ice machine that worked was the one on the first floor. When I asked the lady who finally delivered our ice bucket to our room, what ice machine actually worked? She was unsure. The room had hair in the shower when we arrived and a few dead bugs in the window sill and in the bathroom. The overall feel of the hotel was just grimy. I feel like the pictures on Expedia were of a different hotel, not the one that I stayed in. The remote in the room had to build up a visible dirt and grime on it. The elevators had trash and dirt on the floors every time we went in them. The air conditioner in the room was insufficient and smelled like mold.

Breakfast was good & the staff in the kitchen was excellent. Front desk was has a very good skill of customer service. No microwave in the room.the ice maker on 6th floor didn't work. The AC unit in my was extremely loud.

Everything was ok but the pillows was so soft and uncomfortable I didn't sleep and have a all day meeting

an HVAC unit that failed to dehumidify the room, which the air, causing a strong musty odors, left my bedding, suitcase, clothing, and room constantly cold and damp. It was near impossible to sleep comfortably. I attempted to notify hotel management via email on September 17, but the email was bounced back. I then reached out to Hotels.com, and they tried to reach the merchant on my behalf, but they were told Holiday Inn was refusing to provide a partial credit, as I had requested. They did however, provide a phone number I could call, to their General Manager. Surprise! Nobody answered, and there was no voicemail that picked up. Next I tried IHG, their parent company, and they too were told by hotel staff that they would not be issuing any type of credit. IHG provided me with another email, which to date, has not been responded to. As far as other parts nor the facility, I did not use any amenities in this trip, but it appears they do have numerous areas to eat, and there is a pool. There was one evening with a strange man and woman, the woman was pacing back and forth in the parking lot for over an hour, and when I was coming back to my room, the male jumped out of nowhere and informed me I couldn’t get into the hotel without a card. I notified security, and they must have taken care of it, as he was gone the next time I walked outside.

Close to Disney, manageable drive. Close parking to the different sections of the hotel. Lobby food and snacks a bit over priced.

Room was amazingly clean. Staff was very very helpful very polite. They make sure that I was comfortable and that whatever I needed they attempted it to me. I give this place a five it was so nice and quiet and relax very well maintain.
