Vacation Village at Parkway

We like the unit because it looks like a house complete with a kitchen. It is very clean and the village is well maintained. Other staff are friendly. The pool at building 10 is really gorgeous and landscaping is very well done. We arrived at the place kinda late at night there was a few people in front of us so we waited awhile the agent that helped us was not very welcoming did not even smile once or talk and she told us to go to the other side to get our parking pass when I went it was closed so we have to go back the next day. Then she gave us a unit that needs serious upgrades like the finishes and furniture looks old and surfaces does not scream luxury but cheap but it is very clean though and well maintained. Building 10 interior looks tired and old but clean. It is also hard to find dedicated walking trails or no proper signages or directions where to find them so we have to make our own and walk the whole village instead. Lacks dining options in the property itself. The fitness center or gym is very small. The photos on booking.com was modern and bright but our experienced was not like that. Maybe other units are more modern than the unit we got.

As soon as we entered from the hallway it smelled terrible. I rented both A & B units for my family, and staying in the room was difficult because of the smell. I sent a message via text about it, but there was absolutely no response at all. Quite shameful to not even get a response. This was my 3rd visit, and I never had any issues until now. The staff needs to do better at cleaning the rooms, and if there is an issue, then address it prior to guest arrival. We should never have been given rooms with musty, moldy smells.

Room was clean. Very limeted kitchen. No cookin sheets for oven. But room clean and property kept up. Couldnt ask for more

The room was priced well and the staff I engaged with were all very kind and helpful. The grounds that we saw were nice and quite clean. We paid for a firework view room, which was technically true, but for most of the fireworks during the 2 nights we were present, we needed to crane our necks to see them. However, my complaint primarily lies with the bedroom’s lack of air circulation. The A/C did not work well, typically not reaching the temperature we set it at that was within the parameters (between 67-72, I believe) listed near the gauge. In the evening, the living room would be quite cool, but the bedroom has very little air circulating and it definitely did not reach the temperature of the living area. Without a fan, this made it very difficult to sleep. If our stay were longer, I would have had a harder time remaining in the room and perhaps a different room would have had better circulation. The final negative remarks relates to an unmistakable urine smell coming from the living area rug. We had the couch bed out for most of our stay, so I didn’t notice this until the day of our departure. With so many nice, well-priced hotels and resorts in the Orlando area, I think the bar needs to be higher for us to stay again.

It was in a good location. The light switch for the bedroom lamp was hidden behind the TV. I didn’t notice that there was another switch on the wall. Check in was long. I had to go to two people to check in and get my parking pass.

Everything..It was something I didn’t not expect for the price. But I definitely loved the rooms That it was not a breakfast bar

Location was excellent! Loved that we had a complimentary shuttle to the parks, we had more than enough space. It was clean, quiet and had all the amenities that we needed. Loved this place!
