Clean room, large space

Great location. Can walk to everything

Liked the location. We were warned about the construction but I am a late sleeper and was woken up way earlier than I needed to get up. I didn’t notice a reduction in price for the inconvenience. That was unfortunate.

The staff goes that extra mile to make sure everyone is happy. This has been my 6th trip since last year and I will not stay anywhere else in La Jolla. Special thanks to Cheryl and Miguel.

The parking situation can be stressful but it all worked out. You pay for parking but it's first come first serve so if you're going to come and go often be prepared to park on the street.

Solid spot at reasonable rate

Newly renovated

Location was great property was clean. Beds were very comfortable. Definitely no frills place to stay but perfect.

Excellent, friendly staff and wonderful location. I loved the pool and beach nearby. I hope to return again next visit. Huge plus is the newly renovated rooms. Thanks.

Location Old needs to be freshened up

Very clean and the staff was very nice. The location was perfect. The new room was very nice and comfortable. Overall great stay.

They are under construction now. They have limited parking. We ended up parking on the street and we’re not charged.

Close to the beach!

The staff were attentive and polite, the room was clean and an overall great experience. This is probably the 12th time in I’ve stayed here and it’s always been a positive experience.

Other than the construction, which we were made aware of well in advance, everything was perfect. The room, the staff, the area. Can’t beat this hotel. Nothing to dislike, loved everything!

Excellent service!

The check-in process was top notch. After a 4+ hour drive the staff worked together to allow us to check-in early so we could unpack our 6 year old and easily change him for the pool. One of the cleanest hotels we have been in. Everyone working there was welcoming. Thank you!

Under construction

It was fantastic for a solo trip. Extension of a business trip and wonderful to visit La Jolla again. I was fortunate to get the last parking spot. Unclear what would have happened if it wasn’t available. Would honestly be nicer if the hotel booked some spots in the local garages.

Love that the hotel is conveniently located to park your vehicle and walk to shop or eat. Also able to walk down to the beach and see all the seals.
