Place is very old, outdated and ghetto. Old CARPET was sticky and stained! Had to wash our feet before putting on shoes, so disgusting! Pool opens at 10am, but checkout is at 11am, so we couldn't go swimming. Parking is tricky to get to, I missed it and had to drive around again. I will not stay here again, despite low price.

horrible never again!

The worst hotel I’ve ever been in . They don’t show pictures of true condition of hotel . I think thats why even tho I reserved far in advance it’s none refundable. Man at the front desk even said if you don’t like the room don’t touch anything, giving the impression they would book the room anyway and double dip at someone else’s expense. I would add pictures if I could also . They need to be reported to housing department . A hole in the ceiling of the bathroom. Dirty carpet , burn holes everywhere, torn carpet . They turned off water in the middle of shower without even giving a notice in advance.

Room wasn't super clean. Carpet was pretty dirty. And everything was pretty outdated. Pool and jacuzzi were okay. Our room didn't have a tv console . Overall okay for the price.

Dirty room ! No amenities, this hotel was horrible. I would never recommend anyone to stay in this place since it seems there’s so many unwelcoming guest that’s trying to entering someone else’s room. It is more of a truck stop. I’ve seen better than this motel. It should not have said that it was a reasonable place to stay or a safe place to stay at this point. Unfortunately, I cannot rate this place lower than I have as a horrible star or less than a negative one.

The plug didn’t work so it was hard to charge our things beds so uncomfortable

Straddle has to be retrained or communicate better among themselves. I saw it twice (it happened once to me and another to other guest) that the reserved room (non-smoking) was not available. The last time I stayed I paid extra for a late check out, and still twice the staff almost knocked down the door trying to get in before the extended check out.

It was a easy check-in check out great staff very helpful

The AC didn’t work. It was very very hot in the room. I got bug bites bedding look very clean. I didn’t see no bugs but something was biting me so I don’t know if it was from the rug or what

The room was not clean it smelled like fried food and spices the next day I asked to get another room and one of the staff member said yes we can get you another room but later in the afternoon I was told they didn’t have another room and had to stay in the same smelly room.

The pictures did not match the hotel. The hotel seemed to have residents that lived there. Damaged cars were towed to the location, while we were there. Multiple guests were drinking and vaping around pool. No security. Room was old and smelled. Advertised to sleep 3 people, but only one small bed. Window curtains held in place with hair ties. Fridge was cracked and damaged. One old wooden chair, multiple old desks and nightstands all had cig burns. AC did not cool room. we immediately checked out and did not stay.

Air conditioning was great but the beds very uncomfortable seems like I was laying on a board rooms were cleaned but the hot water ran out to fast had to shower super quick I thought it could of been a little better for the price I paid

They told us we had to be in a smoking room despite our non smoking reservation because they overbooked. They were so snide and rude from the second we walked in. The room was disgusting, like gum in the carpets, cigarette burn holes in the comforter and blankets, stained mattress, holes in the wall, mold in the shower kind of disgusting. The stay here was absolutely miserable.

The staff were not particularly pleasant, just busy and curt. The building has seen better days, excessive wear and a lack of professional maintenance was evident everywhere from some main building support beams badly eaten by termites to the shower drain we had to clean out ourselves in order to get it to drain reasonably quickly. We saw the roach motel in the room, but no live or dead roaches in the room. Furniture in the room was falling apart, drawers missing or off glides, doors that scraped the floor or hit other drawers or doors. Very bad wall and ceiling patch jobs were covered with fresh paint. The toilet seat was damaged and lose, the sink badly chipped. The AC was loud. The carpet looked dirty especially coming in from the door. The web site we used said they serve breakfast, (pastries and coffee), but they don't, only coffee. The pool and jacuzzi were nice, the AC worked well. The sheets and pillows were clean and immaculate, the bed spread worn at the edges but clean. The room was freshly painted and the walls were clean. Extra pillows were provided quickly when we asked for them.

Cleanliness? The floors and carpets were sticky and I made friends with the baby cockroach that took up residence in the bathroom. Amenities? The beds were old with palpable springs that felt like they would poke up through the fabric any second. The sole functional electrical outlet in the bedroom was across from our beds, so there wasn’t a bedside lamp or a close spot to put a phone or charging device. WiFi did not work. Noise level? High - freeway noise and guest noise were both overwhelming. Lesson learned - proximity to SDSU is definitely not worth it.

I am not a picky traveler - I literally will sleep anywhere, but this place was absolutely disgusting! The excellent reviews cannot be real! The bathroom was crawling with cockroaches and we had to sleep with the lights on all night just to try to keep them away. The room smelled like cigarette smoke. The furniture was coming apart. The bathtub and shower were filthy. There was no parking when we arrived very late at night and we had to squeeze into a spot where we couldn't even exit our small car without hitting the neighboring vehicles.

The inn is located very close to the freeway, so the room was extremely noisy and it was difficult to sleep at night. The room also smelled strongly of cigars. The bed sheets had holes in them and felt very rough, which made the bed uncomfortable to sleep in. Unfortunately, I would not recommend staying here, and I would not stay here again.

Overall the stay was very good, stayed one night for a quick trip. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nice and served its purpose. I personally did not bring a car but there is quite a bit of parking.
